"If I could rate with a zero rating I would. Completed all 9 months of schooling and was a B-A average student. Right before I was suppose to take me CMA exam and graduate the school shut down and now I still owe all the money to my school loans. I would not recommend this school to my worse enemy."

"It a shame that I only had eleven days left before I had to take my certification test. Than I get a text message stating the school is closed. The school won't answer their phones as students I think we deserve answers. Star has screwed over a lot of people. I hope I can find another school who will accept my transcripts"

"This school is the worst mistake I could have made, there is no one to talk to about anything, instructors have attitude, they can't pronounce and they don't give two cents if you show up or not. Don't waster your time and money. They smile in your face when you first come in but once you're in you are on your own literally."

"Let me start off saying I would never recommend this school to anyone. They don't go by chain of command when your a student. If u make a complaint nothing gets done!!!! They fire good teachers and keep the bad ones!!! They didn't help me get an extern site I found my own!!! They don't help you find a job even if you have your certification. They are quick to take your money but don't help you with anything. They is to much favoritism in that school and it's sad!!! They need to clean house and get all new people!!!"

"Best decision I ever made. I worked hard and was rewarded with a 4.0, excellent extern site and a job I can be proud of. Difficult program academically and clinically, but the best things in life are things you work hard for. Instructors are the best in the field."

"Loved my experience in the Medical Assistant program & loved my instructor. Would recommend the brick campus to anyone looking to go back to school from what I could tell.most of the other programs where just as good as the one I was in . . And from what I heard from other students they where enjoying the other programs as well."

"This school is a complete joke, the teachers have no idea what they are doing. There is nobody you can go to talk to about any problem they send you from one person to another. A year later still trying to find a full- time position. Had a 4.0 absent 2 days and where did it get me? They do NOT prepare you for anything on the NCCT they basically give you a book and you need to figure it out! I would not ever recommend this school to anyone! Crazy part is 2 students out of 16 in the class passed the NCCT what does that say for the school?"

"As a teacher this school has cut corners from the beginning. I have worked there for many years and observed teachers using different procedures, not utilizing the syllabus that they were given. I would not recommend any of my siblings or my family to attend this school!"

"This school has no respect for education. Someone must take healthcare for a joke. Some of the instructors know as much as you, from the books you're given. Basically you pay for books and teach yourself. Instructors do not have hands on experience. Clifton location, don't waste your time or money."

"This school is a scam currently graduated and went to take my test nothing we learned was on the test, the teachers were horrible, and didn't teach anything, . How does a whole class fail a certification test? Because we weren't taught the material on the test."

"Unorganized school, I had so many problems with this school it is unreal. I've had so many different teachers since I've been there, so many different staff members. There is always a new president, always new people who don't know what their doing, We as students never know who we can speak to for our problems because no one ever introduced their selves. There are so many teachers who are unprofessional. Its sad. The staff lost so much paper work and don't ever know what's going. I am so happy tomorrow is my LAST day and i will be done with this school. But i did have the best instructor for dialysis Mrs. J.B.she truly was the best and was the reason me and the rest of my class stuck it out."

"Started 5/15 at the NYC campus on 14th st. Horrible experience at least. Instructor quit after 2 weeks. Was replaced by 3 instructors rhe next 4. The sub who replaced the remaining 3 mods only yelled and screamed .Demanded we do voluntary work at her low budget catering company during school hours, to help serve food!! Lipstick commercial Equipment you can get at the 99cent store. Not enough ingredients to complete meals. MADE CLASS CLEAN MAJORITY OF TIME(GREASE TRAPS, GARBAGE,Dishes and pots ) 8 students dropped out.Only one made it to externship and they can't measure. Do not waste your time or money. Chef Margot and caterer Kris can care less about you!!"

"I enrolled in class at the brick campus for surgical technology, I would never recommend anyone to go there. I have never had a teacher/instructor who was so unprofessional, and spiteful. This specific teacher will purposely do what she can to jeopardize your grade. For paying 20,000$ I absolutely do not believe I got the education I payed for. They are lazy, hypocritical, and only care about the paycheck they are getting at the end of the week."

"I was in this program in 2014 and I sign up for a good cause being a single mom to better me and my son but it had ups and downs teachers bully me and students all at the same time had to repeat like three classes which I pass and then have one class to repeat again in December so its a hard tech college to go to very competitive you have to be strong. Its no transfrable credits so just to let you know. You do get a exam for free at any site that takes exam to pass this course but you have to make it on your own. And be independent and be mindful you find the job yourself."

"This school is absolutely the worst school I have ever attended. Ms. J. is a rude and disrespecting teacher. She should not be able to teach at any school. She does not know how to talk to her students and has had several complaints about how she conducts herself and the school board.. Mr. C. and Mr. M. allow for her to be disrespectful to her students without being disciplined. They should be ashamed of themselves! They loose more then half their students throughout their course. I am waiting for a refund..Keep looking there are better schools to attend that will treat you with the respect you deserve!!"

"Went to Star on Welsh Rd. In Philadelphia this school was horrible. I had 4 teachers in a 6 month period and honestly none of the students were where they needed to be! We had 2 teachers quit within 2 weeks of each other, we had 1 sub teaching 2 classes one night and then we had our extern coordinator quit because this school was giving her a bad rep. students fight daily and argue with teachers, they never have supplies, MA teachers are terrible don't follow course curriculum, MA course should be hands on from beginning to end along with course work. All their doing is taking advantage of students, proving them with a false hope. What a waste of time and money. Do not attend this phony school. What a ripe off!!!!! By sending the students out unprepared, hospitals dropped our school while I was attending SMH and they expected us to stay yea right!!!"
