"This school is a joke. Nobody in advising is of any help other than sending you over to the next person, for them to tell you the same thing. Financial aid has quite literally lied to me on multiple occasions about grants I was supposed to receive. I can't even get ahold of anyone at the school for help regarding a course that seemingly doesn't exist anymore (which still is on my list of required courses for my A.S). Overall, do not go to this school, the saying "you get what you pay for" is 100% true."

"No questions about it- my degree was extremely cost effective and the education it provided allowed me to be competitive in the job market immediately. My degree paid for itself in just 4 months of working."

"State College of Florida is a community college with campuses in Bradenton, Venice and Lakewood Ranch. It has recently begun offering extended professional certifications and Baccalaureate programs. It is an affordable, quality program that offers on campus and online options. It also offers many ways to get involved on campus."

"The reason why I attended State College of Florida was because I didn't feel quite ready to attend a big university, surrounding myself with people I did not know. SCF was close to home and I knew I would be saving a lot of money by being able to attend a school near home and while living under my parent's roof. I thought I would envy the rest of my friends seeing them go off to a bigger university, however I am actually extremely glad I went to SCF to obtain my Associate's Degree. I feel like attending this school not only helped save me money, but prepared me to go off to a bigger university. Being able to transition slowly to a bigger environment helped big time! Most of the teachers at SCF have been helpful, which is always a plus."
