"I graduated from Strayer University in 2012 with a degree in Business Administration and I"M GOING BACK!!!!! If you listen to all this noise on here you could miss out on a great opportunity. You just need to pay attention during the entire process. Your FAFSA paperwork has to be completed correctly. You have to ensure you stay on top of your expenses and studies. Stop blaming others for your own faults. Strayer's curriculum is comparable. They may not have the most updated Instructor's but their curriculum has helped me. Their eleven week courses are sufficient to ensure you actually learn something! Do not be fooled with going to another place where the speed-track you! It will not be worth it. If you don't want Strayer calling you, then don't waste their time. Get in there and take responsibility for your process, degree and life or get out of the way for those who are trying to get schooling done!"

"I've been attending Strayer University since July 2017 (summer term) without any issues with financial aid. I'm pursuing an associates degree in business administration. Near the end of their summer term hurricane season began where I reside in Georgia. Due to the effects of the hurricanes, the university offered effected students extra time to complete work that was due near the end of the term. As follows I received "I" grades for Incomplete for the Summer term. At this point I'm thinking everything is fine as I enrolled and completed the Fall 2017 term which started in October. Mind you I received financial aid for both Summer and Fall terms. Now it's January, and the Winter term has started and now I'm told that until my "I" grades are updated to As, Bs, Cs, etc that I'm not eligible for aid and will have to pay out of pocket. How screwed up is that??? Both of my past instructors "supposedly" submitted requests to update the Incomplete grades to actual grades, but nothing has been updated with Strayer and now I have a balance due from removal of my expected aid. It doesn't take days upon days to complete grade changes/updates. My advice is don't attend Strayer unless you want a creative way to get screwed over. I've called countless times with no response and no one is able to tell me how long this will take. Everyone gives you the runaround and acts as if you are bothering them. So in the meantime I'm expected to attend classes that I can't pay for without financial aid. Then they wonder why for-profit schools get a bad reputation."

The staff they hire is talented and are more than willing to help students excel in furthering their education. The professors the university has teaching have real world experiences and know what their talking about. The teaching methods the professors use is engaging and sparks interesting conversations either on line or in class. In addition the free tutoring and success coach helps students map out a individualized plan to ensure the successful completion of the degree the student plans on getting."

"Strayer University is an OK school to attend, especially if you need to work while you try to obtain a degree. It's a great way for adults to go back and get a higher education. Even for young adults it would not be a bad ideal to attend this University."
