"This University is a very well controlled environment for the working class who are looking to have the college classroom experience without the hassle of scheduling. Their staff is accommodating to all your needs and degree qualifications. Great school!"

"When you first apply to the institution, the staff will be overwhelmingly helpful. They will call and text and reach out to you throughout the scope of the courses and make sure you're reaching your goal. The further you get to achieving your degree, the more you will notice how hard it is to get a hold of anyone if you need any assistance. The material in the classes can ALL be found online which means you technically are not learning anything if the students (9 out of 10) take this route. WORST SCHOOL EVER. huge scam. Do not get yourself involved with this nightmare of an institution."

"I'm shocked and disappointed to see the negative reviews here about Strayer. I selected this school because it is regionally accredited, the most prestigious accreditation a school can receive, so I feel confident in saying my education is legitimate. In my opinion, the key to success anywhere is communication. At Strayer there are so many people to reach out to if you need help or have a question, but like any school anywhere, sometimes its up to you to trouble shoot your own technical issues or communicate in a timely manner if need help. These are skills you need in the workforce and qualities perspective employers look for. I noticed a lot of the negative feedback here is regarding Financial Aid. I would caution prospective students to take this with a grain of salt. When you sign up for school pay attention to what you need for your financial aid, take it seriously, and don't just blow it off if you're asked to prove you are who you say or that what you put on your FAFSA is true. I've had to provide documentation for Financial Aid and yes its a little more work, but its not the school punishing you, just take your time and do it right things will go a lot more smoothly for you. As for the professors, yes some were outstanding and some were not very impressive, but this was true of my professors at the local state school I attended before coming to Strayer. At the end of the day, its up to you to submit good quality work, on time! Shocking I know! If Strayer were a "joke" as one comment stated, they would just pass out A's for you showing up. That is not the case its a real school and school is hard. If your expectation is anything less, you're mistaken. Personally I've had a great experience, and couldn't be more delighted to finally say I am a college graduate all thanks to Strayer! If you want a better job and better opportunities, you're not going to get there with out some effort keep that in mind prospective students and best of luck!"

"I attended Strayer for several classes, and even though they are more concerned about the money than the student, I remained with the school due to the online courses and location in Henrico, VA. However, the last time I registered for a class I had difficulties completing the assignment due to Blackboard changed and was never notified. Only having registered for one day and realized I wasn't going to catch up I withdrew from the class. The school charged me a withdrawal penalty for a reason I consider their fault due to lack of communication and REALLY only registered for 1 day and that was a Friday!"

"This school is horrible. The degree is a joke and is considered a joke to any other university and any job you seek. The professors want their paycheck and don't care whether or not you learn. I've had my computer crash in the beginning of a test, I called the student services and was basically told oh well you'll just have to work harder to pass the class. Students that attend are co sidered not bright or well trained. I've wasted $20k on a useless education. DO NOT FOR ANY REASON LET THEM LIE TO YOU! Plus for whatever additional charges they wanted to put on me I had to pay $1700 out of pocket. They wouldn't tell me for what."

"Strayer is a great school and the professors really care and are ready to help. I made one call and they have been there helping me and motivating. I have been out of school for 17 years and i am doing online classes and it is not hard. You just need to stay focused."

"I am currently attending Strayer and have been for about a year and a half. Thus far the professors are great and are very helpful in your success. The professors I've had so far go the extra mile in helping students with quizzes and writing assignments, I mean just short of doing the work for you. I am using my veterans’ benefits and have not had an issue with tuition thus far. Strayer U will award you with your desired degree, but you have to put forth the work in completing the assigned work, you are not going to sit and class and ride on the backs of the other students. For working adults, like myself, I feel it’s a great school."

"Strayer is a for profit school that was charging me $2700 per class for online enrollment in Business Administration. This price was not including books. The "school" was terrible and the professors were semi knowledgeable. While a few of my classes were okay, the majority were poorly taught with little to no interaction from the professors. The online campus was poorly designed and difficult to navigate. Since they have rebuilt it 3 different times. They claim to be for the students, and even said that I was eligible for a scholarship. After signing up for classes and expecting the $2000 Scholarship they said that I was ineligible for the program. I fought for 4 months to get the reimbursement from one class. I eventually dropped my degree and started over with another school because of the lack of administration and terrible professors. The financial issues put it over the top."

"Please, do not go to Strayer. I started strayer in 2012 and they told me everything was going to be great. But that was a lie, I just find out that their degrees is worthless and when I asked for my transcript, they told me that I own them 2102.00. Really Strayer? This is not right. I don't know how I'm going to get this money to pay them. Don't be like me and let them fool you."
