"Strayer University, at first, seemed like a dream come true. They seemed very helpful and very easy to reach. But then, I came to this website and read all of the reviews, most of them negative. So I decided to withdraw from my class for the Fall semester. Only, now, I couldn't get a hold of anyone! When I was registering and going through the admissions process, I could just call and get someone! Now, everyone is giving me the run-around and no one will help me withdraw from my classes. I thought it odd that the admissions counselor would call me at 8:30pm only to hurry along the admissions process. But I was excited because they had the degree program I had! THIS IS A FAIR WARNING!!! DO NOT APPLY OR ATTEND STRAYER UNIVERSITY. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY AND TO TRY AND GET OVER ON YOU!! They still have not sent me the instructions to withdraw! I'm convinced they are trying to wait until its too late! So I owe them money for not withdrawing on time. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL!! THEY ARE A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!!"

"I am very grateful to Strayer University. However, I was very dissatisfied on how they managed and handled the financial aid side of things. I am very happy to hear that they have made drastic changes for the better in helping students with their financial aid, but unfortunately I am somewhat left out of the game, due to the fact, that I owe the college over $1500 because of financial mistakes that was made by the financial aid department in the Spring semester of 2012. For that reason, I cannot continue with my education. I only have 4 classes left to get my Bachelors Degree. I am searching for work, at the moment and hopefully soon I will be employed and that in turn will help me to complete Bachelors."

"I attended a brick and mortar school and ultimately dropped out. Some of my classes had 50+ students in them and it was frustrating. A few years later I went back to another brick and mortar and it was hard to find the time to attend classes, but I got an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Financial Management. Because of my job, I had to move around a lot and work crazy hours. I knew that online schools were going to be my only option. Strayer has a lot of different degree options that they offer and they accepted all of my credits. It took me just over four years to complete my Bachelor in Business Administration, but it's done and I'm proud of the hard work I put into it. While going to school it has helped me receive recognition at work and I was placed in a management position when I neared the end of my education. I found that online school took more dedication from me because I had to write a lot more papers and responses to other students than had I just sat in the back of a class. Strayer isn't perfect though. The financial office is pure crap and it's hard to get a hold of someone if you have a problem. One of my advisors was a complete turd. Some of the instructors are great and other ones seem like they're there just to get a paycheck, but I can assure you that this isn't the only college or university that has those professors. You really have to keep on top of what classes you need to be taking and your finances because you're not going to receive much help from Strayer. As far as transferring my credits from my BBA? I've been accepted to another school in another regionally accredited area for a Master of Public Administration and all of my classes have transferred."

"Ashburn Campus I received my associates in 2010 from a community college and transferred to Radford University in the fall unfortunately due to some certain money circumstances I had to leave Radford University. I decided to work and go to school at the same time and I heard from a friend that Strayer allowed you to do that. When I decided to take all of my credits and get them transferred to Strayer getting in was no problem along with signing up for classes, and it just so happens I was only ten classes shy from my degree. I am now in my last semester with Strayer and all I have to say is that if you want to get your degree here prepare to work you ass off. With that said, in reading these other reviews, I have all the answers, multiple people have said that you have to write in APA format, yes that is correct. It’s not hard it just takes some time. Another writer said that you can purchase these papers and their material is old, yes that is true HOWEVER before you turn in papers you must turn it in to a website that knows if you plagiarized so if you are a copy and paster your screwed. Strayer has been awesome for me this past year, I graduate in a few months and I am very happy. For all you haters on Strayer I’m only 22 and I will be attempting to get my masters from this school this upcoming fall semester booyaa."
