"One of the best Online Colleges around. You will read reviews about slow financial aid refunds but 95% of those are from people who do not have all their information submitted. All instructors are prompt to respond to any questions as well as any other staff."

The one with all the problems to finish school - 2/13/2018

"This school seems to have great customer service and everything in the beginning. but as soon as you get into your semester everything goes wrong. I have been dealing with this school for the past few months and all I been doing is battling with the financial aid department on trying to send my personal information over. The search and financial aid department seem to not care and only will respond to you when they want to respond to you. some of the coaches will only work on your problems when they want to work on your problems with the school. One small little situation can be taken to great measures and will make you fail the semester. I don't know if the staff is always like that but it seems like the people here just don't care and they will get to you when they feel like it. I would not recommend this school. This school is awful and straining."

"Strayer University in Columbus, Georgia has showed my lack of care and integrity for my education. Strayer University has caused my life to be hard because each day I'm dealing with a negative credit report due to Strayer University. I hope that no other student has the experience like I did."

"Would not recommend to anyone. The school only cares about the money. I have not been able to get in contact with my success coach or my professors since I started my classes. Due to that I could not inform them that I was going to miss a week of assignments. Now a few days ago I got a message from someone at the school saying I missed my classes and if it happens again I could be put on academic suspension or worst kicked out and charged a fee of 50% of my tuition. Worst school I have ever attended. Really would not recommend."

"DO NOT GET IN THIS PLACE! The management is totally worst thing to deal with. From financial service to anything that handles the records and paperwork is totally disaster here. First, I even lost count how many times they have messed up my admission and it got delayed 6 months because of their negligence, then they messed up my financial records and finally after graduation they never sent me my diploma, for seven months I had to call them every time to check why they never sent out my diploma and all of them gave me separate excuses and finally they made me pay some extra hundreds for no reason. I paid all those just because I had no will to deal with those people anymore and I needed my diploma for my job soon. I can not believe they are so careless about the system. I would never recommend anyone to go in this place."

"Strayer initially seemed like a great place to gain an education but that soon changed. There recruiters are so interested in enrolling students that they forget to express requirements to receive employer discount. I attended for almost 2 years with receiving my discount because they require a verification every quarter but no one seems to explain this. After realizing the issue, I was advised I would receive all my income if I sent in verification. I sent in my pay stubs going back 2 years to learn that they would only retro pay me for 12 months. Then they changed there policies for financial aid and didn't advise students of all changes because they said only a small percentage of student were affected. Strayer in my opinion are money hungry and care more about making a $1 than the real needs of its students."

"My program at Strayer was excellent. The professors were all great and tried to orient the students to help themselves and each other before coming to them. The communications between professors and students is very easy and uncomplicated. Graduating summa cum laude from Strayer was not difficult at all. So far the only negative feedback I have received about the value of my Strayer degree has been from other employees that have not been able to advance in their position without a degree. Strayer University definitely worked for me!!"

"This university served one purpose for me, to complete my bachelors degree in a technical field as quickly as possible. I transferred to Strayer after dropping out of college 6 years earlier. I finally decided I wanted to go back to school and eventually continue with graduate studies. I reviewed UMUC, UOP, Strayer, and AIC. The only reason why I chose Strayer over UMUC is they accepted more of my previously earned credits. I finished my degree there in 15 months (14 classes). I knew that the reputation of the school would not get me the salary or position I desired (Software Engineer) so I quickly applied to grad school (Johns Hopkins University MS Computer Science). I was quite happy they accepted me and complete my MS in 1.5 years and was hired as a Senior Software Engineer making over $100,000. Like I previously stated, Strayer suited my needs to quickly complete a Bachelors degree in a semi technical topic. It also afforded me the opportunity to go to grad school. For that reason alone I give Strayer 4 stars."

"I currently attend Strayer online and to be honest I so love it. I see that everyone has a comment about any school. I had a couple of professors that were the worse but the good out way the bad. Overall I am very happy that I joined Strayer the best decision for me."

"Strayer University was intended for people who understand that if you want something then you will be willing to put the effort into learning it. They don't except excuses for incomplete work or payments but they are willing to work with you within reason. The goal is or everyone to have the opportunity to succeed although not everyone will. What I learned was definitely worth the time and the effort and I have decided to continue my education at their school although multiple universities do accept these credits. It is expected that anyone attending college level courses will read and write at that level and also have a basic understanding of how to do research work. If you are unsure of your skills in these things then take some remedial classes prior to enrolling or you will not be able to complete the program. It can be hard and at times exhausting but it is worth it. Talking to other students and communicating is also an excellent way to learn more."
