"Since being at Strayer, I have had a great experience. The professors are very helpful and it’s easy to access your coursework. It’s also easy to get registered for classes. The classes are challenging and help you succeed for your future careers. Strayed gives you the skills and resources that you need to succeed after graduation."

"Overall, It is a great university. However most of the benefits are for undergraduate students. I would be nice to have more scholarships, grants, class discounts and opportunities to test out of the upper level classes. It was the best choice to attend school online for my MBA."

"Dream Realized! After surviving cancer, raising an adopted child as a single parent, losing my father and brother a year apart, caring for my mother and relocating across the country with no other family support, I knew I had to be in the best position possible to be a viable candidate for any employer should I face the job market as a job seeker again. I had no one else to depend on. I made it my goal to get my degree and Strayer was the vehicle to get me there. It was not easy. I had so many odds against me. But I had caring instructors who were fully vested into my success. The classes were challenging, but thought-provoking and taught me to think critically in business and in my personal life. They are flexible and worked around my hectic schedule. Most of all, my degree comes with an accreditation that is respected among some of the best employers in the land. One of the best decisions I've made in life is becoming a Strayer alumna."

"This is my second degree at Strayer. I got my first degree in International Business Administration. Currently, I live in China and there are not many online options available which do not require VPN access as China blocks a lot of American Websites. I can access 95% of what I need inside of Strayer's website with the use of a VPN which is one reason I stayed for the master's program. If they wanted to make things better, Strayer could require teachers to produce teaching videos or partner with another group or link their courses with something like Khanacademy. I do not feel that these courses teach you anything. You read the materials, and then take test or write about what you read. I could do that without paying an arm and a leg, but I would not get the degree, but still get the knowledge. I learn more from Khanacademy and Youtube than I do from Strayer. Some teachers will give a little extra material, but for the most part I feel like they are nothing more than moderators of the discussions and the graders as most of these assignments are the same they have been using for years and other schools use the same assignments, too. Just google one of your assignments and you can verify this information. Strayer needs to be a teaching school and not a diploma mill. Like I said, you learn, but only because you have to teach yourself. I would not recommend Strayer as a quality degree. I even took some of the Jack Welch MBA courses and they are just like the other courses. No real teaching is down. At least with the JWMI program your books have the audio feature in most cases. If you want a quality degree look elsewhere .... seriously!"

"Honestly, Strayer was Supposed to be a stepping stone for me. What it ended up being was a change in maturity, attitude and personal growth. From the random e-mail checkins from past Professors to the near weekly calls with my success coach, I found a group of people who heard my story and convinced me that I was worth it. There will be no greater achievement for me than walking across the stage and graduating and proving that I am worth it!"
