"Texas Christian University is a prestigious private college in north Texas. During my first visit at TCU I noticed that all faculty and staff were completely kind and helpful. Everyone that I met made sure that I felt welcome. Upon my moving to the on-campus dorms I received much help from the Hall Directors, Resident Assistants and current students that lived on campus. In terms of the Academics, TCU's curriculum and instruction is rigorous and helps to push you to your fullest potential. I was propelled to think outside of the box and be creative and innovative in my field of study. Furthermore, If I needed help my professors were readily available. From a social standpoint, I appreciated that TCU has daily on-campus events, weekly movie nights, and frequent on-campus concerts from well known artist. I would recommend anyone who has a desire to attend TCU, it is an educational experience that will change your life!"

"The College of Education at TCU greatly prepared me for my career in education. My instructors were knowledgeable in both content and pedagogy as well possessing tremendous experience as classroom teachers. They served as wonderful and encouraging mentors. They were always willing to discuss classes and provided flexibility and support. For example, I was offered a summer internship in the place of completing an additional class during my student teaching. This worked in my schedule much better than a long commute during my student teaching, and I learned so much during this internship. The required classes are diverse and rigorous, covering not just basic classes in education but also courses in special education, english as a second language, and education courses in specific content areas. In addition to educational and content courses, the College of Education also requires a course in taking and passing the PPR. Taking and passing the PPR and subsequent content tests was no problem thanks to help gained through this program. The experiences gained through the many observations and teaching practicum gave me the confidence I needed to be success in the classroom. TCU also hosts a huge education job fair, which is a big help through providing practice in interviewing as well as opening the doors for networking. The College of Education pushed me to do my best while providing an environment of support. I still have several of my textbooks and supplies I used during my years at TCU, and I continue to utilize them."

"I cannot speak more highly of TCU and their nursing program. Once graduating and being immersed in the workforce of healthcare, I felt so prepared and realized a noticeable difference between other nurses who attended other programs. The nursing program pushes you to become a better student and person. They spend time teaching and guiding students through difficult situations and health care processes. I was exposed to many different hospitals and roles throughout the nursing profession which opened my eyes to how many opportunities there really are with the nursing profession. I believe I grew as a person here and have applied the many life lessons attending this school taught me. TCU is seriously top notch school. I started out my college career at the University of Washington in Seattle, which was an amazing experience but timing of nursing school forced me to seek a degree elsewhere. This school is a very easy place to transfer to, which is really hard to say about a college campus. The staff is excellent and truly concerned about their students. There are multiple resources on campus for whatever your needs may be. Their writing center is amazing and the facilities are impeccable. I feel lucky to have attended such a diverse and amazing campus."

"The BSW (Bachelor's in Social Work) Program at Texas Christian University is incredible, and I say this with high confidence because I experienced it first-hand. Not only does TCU offer a variety of courses, but these classes push one to be ready to launch their career after graduation. The classes I took were not easy whatsoever, but also not too difficult where one can still thrive and be successful in the class. The BSW program that they offer is so incredible that I am going back in the fall to get my Master's in Social Work. Choosing to attend TCU is undoubtedly one of the best decisions I have ever made."

"The MBA Program at Texas Christian University is providing me with a wealth of practical knowledge that I use on a daily basis at my employment. My business acumen has significantly increased, allowing me to hold impactful discussions with executive level decision makers. I highly value my experience at TCU so far, because the experience and knowledge gained is a direct result of the cohort. While the curriculum through the years is mostly the same, every cohort experience is different and impactful in various ways. In one class, I can converse with executives in the oil and gas industry, and in another, I can pick the brain of a seasoned supply chain professional. This gives me a unique and diverse perspective to draw from when approaching high level business decisions. TCU is a tight-knit family, where other local and larger institutions lack a close-knit experience. This is an extreme benefit when building my network."

"Smaller school but with a "big" school atmosphere. Standards in the Neeley School of Business are high and the bar continues to be raised. Big 12 sports and Greek life are huge part of the campus, but there is a little something for everyone if neither of those interest you. Located in great city with lots to do and see. One of the greatest experiences of my life!"

"Excellent School. Beautiful campus. Faculty and students were of a high quality. The school and faculty took a special interest in making sure that you were receiving the highest quality of education available and would be well prepared to take the next step in your career. The students were very competitive yet were always willing to help each other when possible."

"The school is a medium sized Private school. Most of the students are upper-middle class, so if you are not of that class, sometimes it doesn't feel like you fit. However, you will find a niche to fit into. The teachers for the most part are great. The classes are difficult, but not impossible, and because of small class sizes, you can actually meet and get to know the professors. The campus is beautiful and the classes are close enough so that you always have time to make it from class to class. And after graduation, the name recognition helps finding jobs in the metroplex."

"I am extremely satisfied with my college and degree program because we were able to go into different schools and observe/help with many classes throughout the past 3 years. I am going into the field feeling very confident in my skills and my teaching. I have had the opportunity to student teach for a full semester and study abroad for a month while in school. During this experience, I was able to see another education system in another country. I will take everything I have learned into the future and pick bits and pieces that are effective and successful. I am very excited for my future in the education field."

"Texas Christian University is not only my alma mater, it is my home. TCU is a community of scholars, friends and football that will keep you coming back years after you graduate. The quality of education is recognized by students, alumni and the world for a reason. Class sizes are small and professors treat each student as an individual - many of them continue to keep in touch after graduation (which is excellent for graduate applications and gaining employment). It is never hard to find something to do at TCU, especially during football season. I was not in a sorority, but many friends invited me to greek life events with open hearts and I never felt excluded. The friends that I met during my undergraduate studies have now become a part of my family. I would recommend TCU to any college senior who is looking for a welcoming community that values education and encourages personal growth."

"I would surely recommend TCU to those who can afford it or got a great scholarship. I received a great education, a wonderful clinical placement in the Miller Speech and Hearing clinic, and had all the access to professors that I wanted. One thing I wish I would have been able to experience at TCU is more diversity. Most people are of the same racial group, socio- economic class, and religion. This made me crave new experiences and opinions; however, there are plenty of opportunities for community outreach and to interact with populations outside of the "TCU bubble". If diversity is important to you, there are ways to seek it out."

"TCU provided an excellent learning environment. With small classes and easily accessible professors, I was able to work through any challenges I encountered. The Neeley career center provided generous support and the interview and resume skills learned in classes and with the help of the career center gave me confidence. During multiple different interviews, employers have been impressed at my skills and confidence and attribute it to the background I received at Neeley."

"I absolutely LOVED Texas Christian University. I can't speak highly enough for my horned frogs! The school atmosphere is amazing, including great football games. And the program for CRJU is incredible. Amazing supportive teachers and career networking that helped me obtain a position for the State of Texas as soon as I graduated. I feel extremely knowledgeable in my job, and I have the ability to expand upon my bachelors into so many difference fields because of the amazing and diverse education I received. I have several friends who graduated at the same time as I did, and they too already have positions in the career choice, or have positions lined up to start soon. I've met very few TCU grads who have struggled finding a job after college. The alumni community is amazing as well and I have found so many people at my current job who are alumni themselves. The who town of Fort Worth is crazy for the horned frogs and couldn't ask for a better college experience before and after I graduated!"
