"The program was a joke; most of it was me sitting in class watching youtube videos. The first year we actually did stuff relevant to our major, but after that it was pointless filler classes. Without those filler classes there was no way my degree would have taken 2 years to finish. Career services was non-existent. I would go to the office and they would work with me and then they would quit leaving with no one to help me. They also lied to me; The advisors told me that my pell grant would cover my entire education and that it was free money from the government. (They failed to mention that the amount is limited each semester) They said there was an "error" with financial aid and asked me to take out private loans. I refused and the school told me I did not have enough money. They told me if I didn't take out private loans I would be expelled. After 1 year of their shenaningans I unenrolled and never looked back."

"My B.S. Degree from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale was a big waste of time and resources. This degree has done nothing to further my career or even get a foot in the door. When I enrolled in 2006, their statistics reported my degree average income could be $63k. In the eight years since graduation, I have yet to see a third of that salary with zero prospects or opportunities on the horizon. Furthermore, there was virtually no career placement services available at the time of my graduation. I regret wasting my life with this school and the debt that came with it."

"Run don't walk away! It's such a debt trap! You can do better teaching yourself with youtube videos- which is basically the same education I received. An absolutely devastating decision. My credit, my future is totally ruined because of these horrible people that are supposed to help young people find their way. I'm sad for anyone that has signed."

"This school is a scam. Stay away. The teachers had no clue what they were teaching us. Everything I learned I already knew or could have learned from YouTube. $20,000 for a year of this terrible school is insane. There were no requirements or portfolios to get in. Many of the students received good grades for poor work. This school road off the backs of lower class and promised me things using shark tactics"

"I attended in 2014. This school is a joke. Out of all the classes I took, only two were relevant to my major. The rest were graphic design. I was majoring in video production, why do I need to learn web design? My gen eds were too easy. The only math class I needed to take was algebra. I remember there was one class requirement called "presentation". It was just the teacher showing random Youtube videos for no reason. Career services is crap. They didn't help me at all. Financial aid is even worse. They claimed my Pellgrant would cover everything. One month later and they're asking me to take out a loan. What the hell happened to my Pell grant? I decided to withdraw from the class. One year later and AI asks me why I'm not going to classes. They had kept me enrolled even though I filled out the paperwork for withdrawing from school. I'm annoyed by all the positive reviews that attack the students that left negative reviews. I'm tired of them implying most students didn't make the most out of their education at AI. I worked hard at AI. The school is terrible. It's a waste of money and time."

"Going to this school was hands down the worst mistake of my life. Save yourself a lot of time, money, energy and stress by avoiding this school at all costs. Absolutely worthless. I hope no one makes the god awful mistake I did. Most people I know who graduated from here are working as house painters or some other useless job."
