"My experience online has been horrible from beginning to end I believe they should try to help students after graduation with jobs. I’ve been applying haven’t got one yet, I understand things take time. I paid money out of my pocket and I just feel like the support hasn’t been the same at all. You have to keep calling nobody really knows anything. Not even on the same page. It is frustrating my externship was horrible not only that I haven’t even received my certificate yet so how can I work without that? I’m sure I can’t, I’m just not happy at all. The only good thing is the test wasn’t hard and the school work was mediocre that’s it. Run as fast! They just want your money. I wished I listened, they don’t help you get a job! Once you graduate you can’t get anyone to help you or even know when you will get help on job opportunities. They don’t give a damn about you! That’s really sad. I found out they’re for profit so they’re just in it for the money which is sad but not surprised months later seeing their true colors."

"Online you are nothing to them. I can never get anyone on the phone that knows what is going on and it changes every time I am transferred. They took me out of classes due to, what they thought, was a tax error. There was no error and it took me months for them to say 'sorry we messed up' and get me back enrolled. Then they rush paperwork, because they are trying to get you in ASAP, but they fail at communication so of course things get over looked. You are the one that pays for it because they will pull you from classes, causing you to fall behind, because they failed at having you sign or look something over. Very disorganized and I am so distraught about the treatment. I am pulling from the school, or at least that is my plan unless they can very quickly figure out what they actually need and just leave me to focus on my academics."

"Very Helpful, friendly environment and wonderful staff. I think everyone is supportive and go above and beyond for their students and it’s an environment that anyone starting school should go through. I would definitely recommend this school and with this staff to anyone."

"I enrolled into CHCP in January of '22 and graduated in October '22 with my Medical Biller and Coder license and re-enrolled here to get my associates degree in Health Management Administrative Services. I will graduate with that degree in July and it has definitely been an experience and a journey that I will forget.. I was a diamond in the rough when I first started and they brought the best of me all the way to surface. The staff and faculty are so loving, and compassionate people I grew accustomed, friendly, and close to a few of them Including my teachers. If you are thinking about enrolling or considering going to school, or going back, my advice is...do it! It's the best thing that you can do for your self. Never give up on yourself or your happiness."

"I am very satisfied with CHCP. They have prepared the students as much as they need to and they take the time to help you if needed. However they do encourage workshops for interviews and for resumes. When doing these workshops they do prepare you for what is expected once you leave CHCP and you are trying to them get your job. I graduate in October and I feel like I am beyond ready to go out and start my career in the Medical Field."

"I moved to Texas in 2018 and after years of working in the retail sector, I needed a career that would not become obsolete in a matter of years. A path that would develop alongside my personal evolution and provide me the opportunity to achieve success and to feel proud of my accomplishments. I decided on a career in health care and that's when I reached out to CHCP and requested a tour of the campus. I was greeted by the smiling faces of Ms. Helen, the front office administrative asst., and Ms. Heather Jemente, an extremely knowledgeable representative from the administration dept. who instantly made me feel at ease and without whom I would not be where I am currently. The warm and inviting atmosphere of the school solidified my decision; this will be where I change my life. I joined the LMRT program and have never regretted that decision. I have since graduated, successfully passed the licensure exam with the help of the amazing faculty, have procured employment, have returned to CHCP for their HMAS program, and have been fortunate to be invited back as an instructor. I am proud to be a part of this amazing establishment where I now have the opportunity to affect the lives of those looking to change their circumstances. I am a part of a team that is dedicated to their students and who takes the responsibility to ensure that anyone who comes through our doors becomes a part of the CHCP family, and is supported through their journey of self-development. If you're looking to change your life, CHCP is your place to make that happen!"

"I am extremely grateful I was able to do my classes online. I am just disappointed because some information was misleading. I started school here to get my certification in coding (CCS) after I graduated and scored a 90 on my exam I never received my certificate in the mail and when I started applying for jobs I never saw NRCCS as an accepted certification. I tried emailing and calling the school to see if I maybe tool the wrong exam or if I read something wrong. My advice if you're trying to get your certification in coding do not go to this school because NRCCS is not what employers are looking for when it comes to certification requirements. RESEARCH FIRST!"

"CHCP NW Campus, Houston, Tx. I graduated from the ADN program and passed the NCLEX about a month later. This is a great college if you’re motivated. It’s an accelerated program with a lot of content to cover. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity that the school, instructors, and Director of Nursing over the ADN Program, gave me to make positive, life changing moves. The financial aide faculty was always responsive and helpful. Even the nice lady working at the front desk always greeted us with a smile. Bottom line is, they care. That makes them a cut above the rest. Shannon Banks, RN"

"I came to this school in search of a CPC certification. I already have a bachelor's degree and wanted the cpc cert to pursue my career in health information management. Although the instructor was awesome I did not know until the end of my term that I was not getting a CPC but a CCS certification which was a complete bummer because of the pay difference. However, I did get a chance to learn a lot about coding and how to actually code. I passed the certification with a 92 and now getting ready for externship. Once I start working after a few months I will take the cpc exam and hope I score just as high."

"I ATTENDED THIS SCHOOL A FEW YEARS AGO, I LOVED IT AND I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR THE STAFF AND THE PROFESSORS. THE SCHOOL SET UP MY EXTERNSHIP, WHEN I WAS THROUGH, THAT JOB HIRED ME ON AS FULL TIME, I WORKED THERE FOR FOUR YEARS. I AM NOW WORKING FOR AN AMBULATORTY SURGICAL CENTER IN NEW ORLEANS. THE TEACHERS ARE ALL HIGHLY EXPERIENCED, AND THEIR HANDS ON TEACHING STYLES MADE IT VERY EASY TO WANT TO LEARN.CHCP HELPED ME UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS REQUIRED OF ME IN THE MEDICAL FIELD, I AM THANKFUL EVERYDAY!"

"VETERANS LOOKING TO USE YOUR GI BILL BE CAREFUL! They didn’t tell me I had 30 days from my registration date to give them a Certificate of Eligibility from the VA (the print ready version on EBenefits wasn’t good enough on top of that the one I provided they “lost”) so they tried to tell me I had to pay for everything out of pocket. The financial aid office never answered the phone when I called and I wasn’t notified of this “30-day thing until a few days before the deadline. I had just finished Mod 1 with Dr. George (he’s such a good instructor) and moved on to Mod 2. I had to stop everything because I hadn’t received my official COE in the mail yet. I wasted 2 months with them and owe the VA money now because they were actually paid. Take you GI bill elsewhere!"

"While attending CHCP I lost 2 People in my life. Not due to Covid. We also all dealt with learning virtually, students and teachers. The month I graduated my 24 year old son was diagnosed with stage 3C colon cancer. Thank god I was done with school I would have never been able to suffer through that. The career service agent that was assigned to me was Tamilyah (I’m sure that’s spelled wrong). She reached out to me and I cried to her a stranger over the phone more than once. I explained to her that I was not ready to go look for work due to my sons diagnosis. She continued to check on me very frequently. As soon as I told her I thought was ready to work with in that week I had several interviews. I have received the best opportunity to work with some very amazing women that are willing to teach and train me and I have to give all that credit to Tamilyah. She was absolutely wonderful!!! Also Ms.Vicki she also would check on my son and ask how things were going. Just really made me feel I was more than just a student. I can’t say thank you enough for all y’all’s hard work ladies."

"This is the worst online school experience I've ever had. I would not recommend this program to my worst enemy. Having to constantly deal with miscommunication, false promises, and lost documents is not worth the benefits of doing an online course. I should have done more searching before committing to this program because the stress of having to deal with the professors and administration makes the learning experience miserable. I fully regret my decision to start this program and I truly hope that whoever considers this course in the future does more searching and finds a program that is better organized and is focused on students success."

"When I was looking for a school to attend it was not easy, one reason is due to the fact that I had been out of school for so many years. When the Counselor at that time called I felt welcome. She assured me I would do great and I did. The professor’s there is awesome I have my favorites of course from the No nonsense(Ms. Dani Johnson, encouraged me even when I wasn’t in her class) Ms K always gave me a hand and hug. Ms. Celeste is a sweetheart. I experience many more staff and administrators that help me through with if only a smile. Chcp involves team work. From you the student to the class room and people you talk too. Thank you All for everything."

"I am 48 years old and never went to college. I decided to try medical billing and coding as a way to bring income into the home and still stay at home at some point down the road. I did A LOT of research looking for the right program for me and for one that was a GOOD program. I have friends in the medical field and I showed them the list of courses I would be taking at CHCP to see what they thought and they said they looked very good. Most online schools do not offer the vast courses that CHCP does and are only for a very short period of time (6 months or so) and are not accredited. I chose to check out CHCP NW campus. I was very excited to get started and very anxious as I had not been a student for 30 years and, at first, I was a bit overwhelmed and wondered what I had gotten myself into. Well, I stuck by it and I am so glad I did!!! I have found the school to be AMAZING!!!! I had 2 teachers there and I loved them both. My instructor for my MCB class, Mrs. Shackleford, was by far the most amazing, kind, caring, helpful, and supportive person. She was beyond my expectations. I was not "just another student" to her. I am about to be finished with my externship now and I truly miss going to class. She made the information meaningful and not just something in a book (a really really big book!). We, as students, were able to freely ask questions without feeling stupid and we would help each other openly discuss things and apply the situations to our lives personally and to real life examples so that we could all understand them. Mrs. Shackelford cares about each of her students as people and truly wants them to succeed. She has a 100% pass rate and that is by no accident. She works hard with each student to make sure that we all are where we need to be and are totally prepared for our certification exam. She also encourages us to go as far as we'd like with our education and our career goals. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in medical billing and coding and I actually already have to several people."

"I went for my Medical Biller Coder but what they don't tell you is that their Certification will NOT get a job as a Professional Coder at all you might can be a biller which is still ok but they pay isn't great compared to the pay of a Coder at all no where close. And the coder books you pay for are good to learn the gest of Coding but their useless because when your done with the program the book change every year and your Cert is not for coding. I just wish they would of told me I needed the CPC through the AAPC to be considerate and Professional Coder making the big bucks. So now I'm back in school for my CPC putting myself in more debt but I know for sure it's the real thing. But the teachers a awesome the people are great but the program is one in which did not get me to where I was trying to be. But I did get the learning gest for being a coder but I just couldn't be one with their Cert they offer. You must have a CPC or higher Cert to make great money."
