"Pros- The education department has the best reputation in this area. A degree from St. Rose means a great teacher education. I love my professors and I love everything that I am learning. Cons- The cons are minimal: poor parking, terrible library hours, and location. None of these things impact my education, and I wouldn't trade this decision for any other."

"Overall the program is pretty thorough. The class sizes are small, allowing for a more personalized experience. The cost is pretty high though, and there is little opportunity for financial aid."

"It would be better if there was more time spent in the classroom with students to gain the experience needed to get a teaching job."

"My experience with Saint Rose has been wonderful. It is inexpensive compared to other private graduate programs and located in a great neighborhood in Albany, NY. The professors in the education program are all highly experienced in the field and eager to help their students. I'm not worried about employment postgrad either because Saint Rose provides a lot of teachers to the schools in the Capitol District and has a great reputation for their educational programs. Overall, a great experience so far!"

"Saint Rose has a great supportive environment with teachers, staff and faculty that genuinely want you to succeed. The school is very well known and respected in the community which is beneficial. I am in the Community Counseling program and the opportunities for internships and opportunities are great, especially if you plan on staying in the Albany area. Albany is very small which leads much to be desired but it is very charming. It is also reasonable affordable but not as cheap as the surrounding areas. St Rose itself is a private institution so it is relatively expensive. The school is not CACREP accredited so if that is important to you or your career St Rose would not be the school for you."
