I'm beyond disappointed and dissatisfied with UAGC. I first attended ashford that merged with UAGC during my first year and each year the costs has increased without better student care, learning resources and better engaging college professors. If you're going to spend over $1500 for one course I would expect better. The re-entry team promised me a grant to help towards my balance if I came back to register. It turn from yes we can too now I don't know we have to wait and see after you finish your... Read More

I have enjoyed attending Ashford's online campus. I enrolled for my B.S. in Early Childhood Education in 2017 and graduated 10/2020. After graduating and the experience I had at Ashford, I decided to re-enroll for my M.A. in Special Education, and so far, I am happy I did. I will be graduating with my master's on 8/21. After attending Ashford, I feel very confident in seeking a new career in education. All of my professors were excellent and very helpful throughout my entire education—outstanding... Read More

Where do I even start ?! I was really excited to start classes! Once classes began, I did four weeks worth of work to only find out that I was removed from the school and had to start over due to a miscommunication mishap. I’ve never met a school that had staff members not be so attentive to online students! This school!.. I Would rate it zero stars if I had the chance to because (1) I feel like the staff is very unprofessional. (2) They do not call to check and to make sure that everything is set... Read More

Ashford University has been the worst thing that has happened in my life. Started attending Ashford back in 2016 in hopes to obtain a bachelors degree in Early Childhood ED. The tuition, technology fees and digital materials kept going up every few months. The classes were not very educational as all that was required from the teachers was to write essays and more essays. Anyway, one day(3 yrs later) I receive a call from the bs school stating that I owed $7,242 WHAT!!!! WHY??? They apologized and... Read More

I have been with Ashford since Feb 2018 and have had nothing but a great experience. Even with a little mishap just now with my account and unpaid balance from last year it was taken care immediately. However, this is an ONLINE school, at a teach yourself type pace. If you put in the effort and time, you will receive good greats. The instructors, at least the ones I have come in contact with, have been helpful and understanding.

I attended Ashford in 2012-2013 for my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education after speaking with a entrance counselor that assured me I would be able to become a Elementary school teacher in the state of Georgia after completing their program. After attending a year I learned from other teachers and contacting the GASPC that even upon completion I would not be able to become a teacher as it is not an Approved program in Georgia and therefore I could not sit for the GACE exam. Here I was taking out... Read More

Attending Ashford University online was an overall great experience for me. I was able to complete my BA in Early Childhood Education while working full-time and caring for my family. The online forum is very user friendly and provides many different learning tools for students to utilize to gain a better understanding of the subject matter. The faculty at Ashford was very helpful and had a fast response time whenever I needed to reach out to them.

I was nervous to start an all online program but I did it anyways and I'm glad I did. I have read reviews of teachers and staff not being very helpful, but honestly when I first started I received one call a week from my advisor checking on me and making sure I was understanding things. I felt like it was too much for me but I know that they were just trying to be helpful. The online classroom is really easy to understand and I am able to work school around my busy schedule. It is more expensive... Read More

I am in my final few months at Ashford and it has been a truly satisfying experience. The courses were challenging and I learned a lot. It was a long journey and admittedly I thought about quitting a few times. Not the fault of the school, just my own laziness. A couple of minor hiccups with financial aid in the beginning, but nothing that wasn't easily solved. I admit that I was skeptical in the beginning of my online school journey. As a full time worker who desperately wanted a degree but couldn't... Read More

Wow. Really don't understand the negativity about this school. Really kind of amusing though to read some of the ridiculous comments. But let's get serious. Ashford University is a legitimate school. It is in fact an accredited college. The professors are highly educated individuals who not only ask for but often times demand quality work. Some professors are fairly laid back and some are practically slave drivers. I took a film class thinking it would be a piece of cake...boy was i wrong. The instructor... Read More

I enrolled with Ashford University in 2013 and I have had nothing but great experiences. The course work is challenging and exciting, and I am only 7 months away from obtaining my bachelor's degree. I have truly learned a lot thus far and I have already been able to find a job in my field of study due to my knowledge gained within my program. You have to put in the work to see the results. It isn't going to be spoon fed to you, which is what a lot of people seem to expect. If you try hard and put... Read More

I did not graduate. I was able to go back to work and my financial aide had ended. The financial aide department sent my funds back but still charged me for a class I did not take. I called their FA department and they would not/could not tell me what class I did not take, that I was supposedly signed up for. Now they have turned the cost of the class over to the collection agency. I was dropped from the class and did not attend. Very disappointed.

Okay. Let's clarify a few things. So many negative reviews about this school, but so much similarity to the complaints. "This is a trash school, because I got caught plagiarizing someone else's work!" Umm really, a school that doesn't allow cheating is a trash school? "All they want is your money!" Hmm, is there some magic college out that doesn't require you to pay for your education? "I can't find a job anywhere with my degree and they promised!" Name me one school online or otherwise that guarantees... Read More

I was contacted by Ashford recruiting. I explained that I was looking for a program for earning my teaching credential for the elementary level and was guaranteed that their program would help me. Foolishly I trusted what I was told. As my senior year began I had still not taken any courses towards the elementary level of education. I had questioned why all my classes were geared toward preschool and was told over and over again that this was a beginning point and that the classes I was talking about... Read More

Ashford University is a joke and a half. When I enrolled I told them I wanted to finish my Early Childhood Degree. They assured me that that would be no problem. I started classes and the subjects I was taking, had nothing to do with Early Childhood teaching. When I was about done with my degree I contacted them about my student teaching, and they informed me that the degree I was getting was not an early Childhood Degree. Wasted time and Money stay away from them.

I graduated from Ashford in June of 2013. I still have no job because employers will not hire me with an online degree. One thing for certain is that I'm now in major debt after the con-job Ashford did on me. Never take classes at this university. They're in it for the profit only and absolutely do not care if you are employed once you graduate. Stay away from this joke of a university.

I received my BA in early childhood education in the fall of 2011. The whole process was very easy and convenient for me being that I am a mother of three and have a full time job.

The quality of instruction was great my professors were always available when I had a question or a concern. Financial aid services were not a problem they were very helpful you have to be on top of things and do your part, people can't sit back and expect others to do everything for them. I plan to return for my MA sometime... Read More
