"I am transferring after two years. I do not recommend coming here. Trust me, you will hear this from other students. All the students are from the same category, and the school greatly lacks diversity. No school spirit at all (No one goes to the games). Essentially it felt like high school 2.0. The school has really mediocre rankings for the cost. Food sucks, and housing is even worse. Super expensive, and you probably won't get housing. The only nice thing is the campus, but with that comes expensive stuff. Altogether, do not make the same mistake that I did, and GO ELSEWHERE! You will thank me for not coming here."

"You pay top dollar for the quality of education you can receive at community college. Adjuncts galore, a low endowment so they have to con students anyway they can, and a dishonest and incompetent administration. They reward their president with a salary that is not equivalent to the university’s standing. The school also goes out of their way to hide/scrub bad reviews. That is why they deactivated Facebook reviews and keep trying to use new review websites. However, bad reviews still pile up because of the “experience” students receive."

"Wonderful small school. The campus is beautiful and located in downtown Tampa. Close to businesses and transportation. Professors are always available to answer questions. Class sizes are small. The dorms are very nice and secure. Security guards are visible around campus day and night."

"The University of Tampa was an amazing college where I was able to challenge myself and grow as an individual. As a medium sized school, I had the perfect class sizes, attentive teachers, and made life-long friends. The campus is beautiful with the towering buildings and downtown skyline views. Living in downtown Tampa allowed for staying busy with activities such as going to the beach, Bush Gardens, Disney, Universal, and of course ample of internships. As for my major, I was definitely challenged. I would say the biggest flaw was not having enough career support for the sciences."

"I left NYC and moved to Tampa to attend college. I was extremely nervous and I didn't have any family or friends in Tampa. But once I arrived on campus I felt like I was joining a family. The students were from all over the world and most students were from out of state. The food was good and the dorms were clean. A lot of room for growth and development."

"I attended UT as an international student, and also played college athletics. I absolutely loved the three years I spent there. The campus is amazing, the facilities/weather/location is great. There is constant investment and improvement, and I have just started the MBA program."

"The University of Tampa is a delightfully small campus tucked into the middle of downtown Tampa. While there's plenty of local attractions in the area, UT's campus has a culture of it's own. UT is very politically aware and allows room for its students to express their opinions and beliefs. The professors are dedicated to getting to know their students and challenging them to reach their potential. The small class sizes allow for a more customized educational experience and increased personal interactions with fellow classmates. There are plenty of organizations and leadership positions for students who wish to be involved and engaged. And there are plenty of paid on-campus positions and financial aid opportunities to help cover the costs of tuition and living expenses. Overall, UT is a great community and university. I am proud to be a Spartan!"

"I'm still currently enrolled, but so far it has been an awesome experience. Eye-opening & mind-boggling. This school has allowed me to come outside my shell and open my mind to all the diversity, culture, academics, and opportunities that the University of Tampa presents. I'm so glad I chose to come here for my graduate degree. The fact that the school is now #78 on Bloomberg's list of top MBA programs confirms that this was a great choice. The professors here are definitely going to challenge you and get you outside your comfort zone, although everyone likes "easy". It's more fun and definitely more rewarding to know that you worked hard to get to where you're at."

"The University of Tampa's Nursing Program was absolutely phenomenal. The instructors work with you if you're struggling and really encourage your success. Being a student with Crohn's Disease and being told by other schools I was not good enough, it was refreshing to be accepted to this wonderful and rigorous program allowing me to achieve my dream of becoming a Nurse. I highly encourage other students to apply to this school."

"The University of Tampa offers a great education in many fields. The campus is constantly growing and close to everything from Downtown Tampa to beaches 15 minutes away. The John Sykes CoB offers small class sizes which gives the student a one on one feel with Professors in all business courses."

"I really enjoyed my time at The University of Tampa. The intimate, small campus is great and the class size was what I needed so that I could get the best education. I visited many schools that I was impressed with, but being able to be known by my teacher personally really stood out for me. I didn't want to be lost among the hundred of other students that are usually in the larger universities being taught, sometimes through simulcast. I would recommend this University as a great place to get your under graduate degree. They offer a lot of studies, the dorms are great, parking is good the food is pretty good too, and there is always something to do on campus and in the surrounding area."

"I feel as though the University of Tampa is a great school. It is competitive and has an outstanding reputation. They do, however, seem to lack slightly in technological advances such as online classes and newer online student systems that other universities have adopted. Overall I feel as though it is a wonderful graduate program."

"Pros: the staff and faculty in the program are very supportive of the students and seem to do everything they can to assist with learning and career development. Smaller classes which allow a more personalized experience. The school is in a great location, being right outside Downtown Tampa. It's not only a great location for social activities, but also for internships and career opportunities. Cons: The program is a bit pricey and doesn't offer a lot of scholarships for grad students. I have not found any courses that are offered online. I personally do not mind taking classes on campus, but some students may consider this a con."

"UT is a great place for first-time college students because it's a teaching university, not a research university. The faculty is extremely supportive and focused on student success. The campus is beautiful and historic, located in the heart of downtown Tampa. I am so grateful for my experiences at UT."
