"I read the review when I was looking for a RN-BSN school. I saw all the negative reviews but again hundreds of students were graduating in the program. I had to decide to be among the negative students or join the positives and graduate. Definitely if they made it, why not me? thats what I asked myself.I enrolled at UTA and now about to graduate with high honors. I feel proud because I never listened to negative reviews. Just listen to your heart. Do whats required in the program and you will do just fine. I have never been happier.I finished the whole program in 1 year.very doable with two jobs and 4 kids.No loans. I paid everything out of pocket.God is good and to all who want to join UTA Nursing program, its intense but you learn a lot in the process. Go for it."

"I attended UTA RN-BSN Program recently honestly wish I would have just went to a HBCU instead. Never had a issue in any of my programs I received my LVN in 2016 went and did my RN-ADN in 2019 currently completing my BSN. While attending UTA I was taking promoting healthy lifestyles one of the most simplest courses. All you do is tell these people about your lifestyle that’s it. I received a “B” in this course once I logged back into my transcript I see that my grade was a “I” for incomplete. Professor emailed me informing me that my paper was similar to another students paper who took the class prior. I knew I wrote my own paper so I was completely confused. Had a meeting with conduct committee about the issue she informed me that she could tell I wrote my own paper the only similarities that we had were a couple of references.... Since they couldn’t charge me for what the professor originally sent my paper over for these people literally looked for anything to write me up over. I had a hearing with these people I honestly felt like a criminal instead of a paying student. I pay for all my classes out of pocket and the classes are expensive. The whole hearing system was unfair all of these people work together and they stick together even if they made a mistake on their end. They gave me that harshest punishment possible a “F” in the course in order to graduate I will have to retake the course again, and be place on academic probation due to not correctly citing a source. All of these happen after I received my final grade on my transcript in the course. I transferred to another university and currently still on track to graduate this year. The communication or shall I say the lack of communication is horrible. I would not pay for another class or attend again. If the professor would have communicated the whole situation could have been resolve between the professor and myself."

"Don/'t waste your money and time here! I started attending UTA RN to BSN online program in 2015. At the time I started the program I was a Texas resident, halfway through my program in 2016 I relocated to Washington State I continued to take courses through 2018. I then had to take time off due to family/financial matters, little did I know I had taken too much time off and if I wanted to continue in the program I would have to apply for readmission. At this point I only had two courses left to complete to earn my BSN. I went through the admission process for readmit and paid my application fee only to be told that the state I currently reside in (Washington) is not eligible to participate in the program. WHAT?! Apparently this program is only accredited in 47 states, Washington not being one of them! So where am I now? TWO COURSES left to complete my BSN, denied readmission to this program after thousands of dollars spent in tuition and years of time completing courses. Now to obtain my BSN I must transfer to another University and retake SEVERAL courses to meet the minimum credit requirements to become eligible for graduation. UTA has been a complete waste of my time and hard earned money. UTA's response? "Sorry, nothing we can do". Yes they did refund me my application fee for readmission, after they've already scammed me out of thousands of dollars. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere."

"Be very careful before you enter into this program. The advertised price of $8,895 is deceptive. You will have to take at least five to six additional classes even if you have a previous bachelor's. Plan on at least thirteen to fourteen thousand dollars at a MINIMUM. If you need help, good luck. There is an advising team but you will never speak to the same person twice. The rules for this program are different than the rules for UTA in general. I dropped a five week class based on what was posted on the UTA drop class page and I dropped prior to the drop date, approximately one week into the class. I was not refunded ANY of the over $1000 I spent. When I contacted the advisor she said "you shouldn't have been allowed to drop-it should have redirected you to an advisor for prior approval but I do see the class has been dropped". I asked if it was possible to re-enroll. She said "No". This is the very next morning. I said "but you said I shouldn't even have been allowed to drop the class-now you can't help me even though it was a glitch in your system". She replied with "that's correct". And that has been my experience with this entire program. They take your money. You simply pay for the those credentials after your name. No one cares about you or your nursing career. You do busy work, learn very little material and certainly nothing you will use in your practice. It is a scam and there is a reason three states do not even recognize this program. Beware!"

"Please don't wast your time to start apply here. They call you a million times until they make you pay $80 and all transfer money. Then you are stack with admission process. Very unprofessional staff. They don't even know how things work. Horrible experience please save you money and time. You will regret why you started there. There are many decent affordable schools out there. If there is no 0 rating so I am doing one but one is too much for this school."

"UTA RN-BSN is a great program! Easy to complete, very doable even working full time and having two kids. Courses are online and very reasonable workload. Price for program is as advertised, $8995 tuition and is what I paid. Of course I knew and understood about additional costs of books, so add about $100 for each class book and theres always the option of renting the book for a fraction of the cost. Other reviews state that UTA is misleading with prices which I do not believe so, but if you are in the RN to BSN program it means you are an RN already and you should have done the necessary research on this program. To wrap it up, great program, finished it in 9 months with all As, while working full time and not letting up on my father and husband duties. Go Mavericks!"

"Great program. Diverse class mix. Great instructional, easy,well laid out format. Easy to understand materials.Instructors will return your email within 24 hours maximum 48 hours. Well spaced out weeks for each class, and between when the next class starts. platform was blackboard. Worked full time and family I would recommend this program for any working Mother or father .IT was very easily accessible and polite. Instructions are based on evidence-based-practice models. You can easily use your learned tools and skills to make a difference immediately at work.There are numerous MSN programs online except the one I was interested in. They are losing money and student by not offering that particular Program an online ."
