Degree: Communications (Speech & Rhetorical Studies)
Graduation Year: 2016

I attended UTPB Online 2014-2016. Overall, my experience was pleasant. My academic adviser as well as various professors were very supportive. I majored in Communications and minored in Sociology; I believe that the courses were rigorous and engaging. The only problem I encountered (on multiple occasions) was accuracy and politeness with the representatives in the Financial Aid Department. Almost every time I contacted them, they curt and gave me wrong answers. I had to contact the supervisor at least three times to get me requests resolved. I appreciate the Falcon Promise they offered/provided to me. Due to the fact that I was considered low-income, combined with my GPA, The Falcon Promise covered any tuition and fees that my grants did not cover. This lifted a heavy burden off my shoulders.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2018

Dr. B. and Dr. S. are the most unprofessional instructors. They don't communicate well with their students, their expectations in their courses are extremely unrealistic, and there is no level of concern for students and their standing with the university. They do not post grades in a timely fashion and do not like being questioned on policies.
