"Absolutely pathetic and horrible school. The phd level chairs really don’t care about your progress. They just say make changes but are not specific on what types of changes can get the process moving along. The program chair obviously sides with the chairs and doesn’t bother listening to the students. Do yourself a favor and choose another institution to do you doctorate degree. They just don’t listen no matter how many times concerts are raised."

"Stay away from this school. The doctoral program is bad. You have 3 different people telling you 3 different things. They ask questions about your writing as if they don’t have any background knowledge to comprehend. Most people understand what face to face interaction means."

"Great learning experience and outstanding professors. Regionally accreditation. In my experience from 2014 to now, TUI understands that working adults have conflicting priorities and they must make accommodation's for those situations. I am active duty military, so finding time to complete my course work can be challenging. Even when I turn in assignments late, the point reduction is negligible as long as you are transparent with communicating these challenges with your professors up front. If you are self-motivated and can make the course schedule work, then this school is for you. I couldn't have earned my B.S.I.T.M. or be this close to finishing my M.S.I.T.M. any other way."

"Trident was purchased by American InterContinental University and thus they have become: Predatory, misleading and incompetent. Seriously consider your options, especially if you are affiliated with the military. Attend this school at your own peril."

"DO NOT ATTEND THIS UNIVERSITY. I read other horror stories about this university and still chose to attend because of the increased JST credits they gave me, which was a terrible mistake. The degree is not worth the paper it is printed on, they are impossible to work with, and their "military friendly" tagline is an absolute lie. There are MANY other excellent options. PLEASE do not attend."

"I selected a degree Program that allowed me to select the concentration that best fit my professional Area of interest. I was able to build my degree plan. The university Course TUI 101 course work was instrumental in helping me navigate all the programs to make my Course assignments easy to access books, newspapers and periodicals. The assignments and grading system was fair and critique of work was meaningful. Access to professors was surprisingly easy. They were very professional, and gave feedback on assignments When we needed it. I was very Impressed with my experience and recommended my son to attend."

"Trident like most other schools is simply guided self learning. The courses require alot of writing and you develop a great understanding of the material. Grading seemed to vary alot between professors, some were easy and some were very difficult. All professors were responsive and offered detailed feedback. Advisers and financial aid office were very open and helpful. Advisers will call you during courses just to check in and see how you are doing. I've been to several school including a top ranked public university, and Trident provided a better quality of education. There are very few quizzes or tests and alot of writing."

"Don’t expect this to be easy, but the journey is worth it. You must be a good time manager and must be able to conduct your own research. TUI has a great curriculum and program. I am a “Triple Trident” and TUI gave me the ability to balance my work life and family life to attain a Ph.D. I will always be grateful to TUI."

"The ability to take courses on-line and not have to travel was amazing. I feel like I learned a great deal from knowledgable faculty. I never had any problems, and my advisor was always willing to help and answer questions. If you are looking for a great education with a flexible schedule, I highly recommend TUI."

"I am enrolled in my 3rd course as a Ph.D. Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing student. The courses are "better than expected", in other words, excellent. Each course consist of SIX uniform modules per the below example: Module 3: Organizational Change - each module has the following: 1. Home (summary of each module) 2. Background (readings for each module - accessible from the online library) 3. Case (written paper around 8 pages – APA formatted) 4. SLP (written paper around 4 pages – APA formatted) 5. Discussion (written commentary, replying to two other students posting) - prior to entering the dissertation phase, students pass a verbal and written examination - students write a quantitative dissertation Final thoughts, I appreciate and enjoy the consistent module structure, knowing I am learning everything expected and necessary for earning a Ph.D. at a regionally accredited university and success in future endeavors. Also, there is not an on campus residency requirement."

"I had a wonderful experience at Trident. The professors were always available to assist and guide you through the graded discussions and course work. Although challenging at times, I maintained a pretty decent average throughout. It takes a lot of discipline and motivation to obtain a degree. Trident is a military friendly school and sets the ground work for you to be successful. Thanks Trident!"

"Great school, great learning experience. TUI understands that working adults have conflicting priorities and they make accommodation's for those situations. I work 10-14 hours per day so finding time course work can be challenging. Even when I turn in assignments weeks late the point reduction is negligible. I couldn't have earned my MBA any other way."

"Working full time, having a work / family life balance and throw in a graduate degree. That’s a tall order for anyone. Imagine being deployed on a front line or as a disaster responder added to this. Trident answers the call when it comes to these challenges. With staff and professors supporting you and students like yourself, failure is not an option. Some reviews may show negative remarks. While most are likely undergrad, it reflects the individuals initiative to succeed. No one I have ever spoken with has had a negative remark when they put forth the effort. Aspire, Believe, Achieve is not just a motto. It is an inspiration to better yourself."
