WELL I STARTED U.E.I A MONTH AGO AT SANMARCOS CAMPUS. I LIKE IT SO FAR, THE INSTRUCTORS HERE ARE EXTREMELY HELPFUL THEY WILL HELP YOU IF YOU NEED IT, THEY EVEN OFFER TO STAY AFTER SCHOOL AND DO PRIVATE LABS WITH YOU UNTIL YOU LEARN HOW TO WHAT YOURE HAVING TROUBLE WITH. THE INSTRUCTORS ARE PATIENT AND TRY TO TEACH IT IN A WAY YOU WILL LEARN (BC EVERYBODY LEARNS DIFFERENTLY)THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT I KNOW THAT HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS SCHOOL ARE THOSE WHO JUST SLACK OFF IN CLASS, THEY CONSTANTLY TALK AND DO WHATEVER THEY PLEASE AND THEN THEY WHINE AND COMPLAIN ON HOW THEY ARE FAILING. PEOPLE GROW THE FUCK UP.

THIS ISNT HIGH SCHOOL ANYMORE ,..IF YOU WANT TO BE AN IDIOT AND PAY 15,000 TO GO TO A SCHOOL WHERE YOURE JUST GONNA SLACK OFF AND NOT DO SHIT..AND EXPECT TO PASS AND GET YOUR DIPLOMA AND A FUCKEN JOB THEN U.E.I ISNT THE SCHOOL FOR YOU. YOU FUCKEN LAZYASSES. OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE THIS SCHOOL.

THIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE, MY BOYFRIEND ATTEND THIS SCHOOL FOR PHARMACY TECHNICIAN. WHENEVER HE NEEDED HELP THE TEACHER NEVER REALLY HELPED HIM MUCH. HE SAYS THE TEACHER SEEMS LIKE SHE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE IN PHARMACY TECH. THE TEACHER DOESN'T CARE IF YOU TURN IN YOUR HOMEWORK OR NOT, SHE STILL LET YOU GRADUATE FROM SCHOOL. THE STAFF THEIR ARE NOT FRIENDLY, ALL THEY THINK ABOUT IS MONEY MONEY MONEY.

I SEEN THEIR COMMERCIAL MANY TIMES ON T.V AND IT MAKES ME SICK BECAUSE IS ALL LIE!! DON'T BE FOOL BY THEIR FAKE ADVERTISEMENT. THEY DO NOT HELP YOU GET A JOB NOR DO THEY CARE IF YOU GET IT OR NOT. MY BOYFRIEND WAS LUCKY TO GET HIRE AT HIS INTERNSHIP. A COUPLE OF MY FRIENDS WENT THEIR FOR PHARM. TECH AND ITS BEEN 1 YEAR FOR THEM ALREADY AND THEY HAVENT GOT A JOB. U.E.I HAD TOLD THEM WILL THEY FINISH THEY WILL HELP THE STUDENTS GET A JOB, ITS NOT TRUE.

ALSO, AFTER MY BF GRADUATE, THEY WOULD SEND HIM MANY LETTERS REMINDING HIM TO PAY HIS LOANS. EVERY LETTER AND PHONE CALLS WAS REGARDING TO MONEY. HE RECIEVED A PHONE CALL AFTER 3 DAYS HE FINISHED THE PROGRAM, AND THEY TOLD HIM TO GO THERE, BECAUSE HE OWES THEM MONEY. THEY ACTUALLY TOLD HIM HE OWE THEM 3K MORE THAN HE SUPPOSE TO PAID..

ANNYWAYS ITS A REALLY BAD SCHOOL. I WAS THINKING ABOUT GOING THERE BUT AFTER ALL THE THINGS I SEE HAPPENED TO THE PEOPLE I KNOW, I RATHER GO TO A JR COLLEGE.

I would not recommend this school after having a HUGE problem with my Dental Teacher. XRAYS seem to be my problem, i get no help from teachers who say they know it all. I have gone to supervisors and they dont do CRAP about it. This school is nothing but lies dont waste your money. My last day is in OCT thank god. My teacher thats all she does is yell. She thinks things get accomplished by yelling.

Please whoever is out there be careful where you send you or your kids to school. Its not worth the money or the time

I've had a great experience while attending the UEI college in Van Nuys. I graduated with a diploma in Medical Billing and Insurance Coding and was hired right away.

I liked the hands-on training. They really make sure you understand what you are doing. I got hired at my externship site and I'm making good money.

The campus is in the middle of Van Nuys. The outside is not impressive, but the classrooms are clean and organized. All the instructors have real world experience and education. They really helped me out because I barely made it through high school.

This campus really helped me get my life together. They are far better than ICDC, Kaplan, or Everest. I have friends that went to each one and none of them are working. Everyone I know that has gone to UEI has a job.

Don't let others discourage you. Go in and see for yourself. They are making it happen and I am so happy to have attended.

This school sucks beacuse the school is really small and everyone here can only get a enviormental engineer job after finishing all the programs the whole school is tagged and they don't try to to take it off everyone thinks its cool to tag school and everyone here fights about 2 minutes left in class and respect and the school sucks

NO SIRVE! IS JUST MARKETING, IN THE BEGGINING EVERYTHING WAS GREAT WITH MY TEACHER BUT HE LEFT. SO I HAD A NEW "TECHER" FOR 6 MONTHS AND HONESTLY WE DIDN'T USE THE BOOKS,ALL MY BOOKS RE NEW, WE DIDN'T USE PROGRAMS ANYTHING!!

HE SAYS THAT HE IS THE BEST TEACHER AT UEI CHULA VISTA BUT THAT ISN'T TRUE. HE DOEN'T HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE TEACHING! HE ONLY TALK ABOUT SIMISMO. SO I AM VERY SAD BACAUSE THE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF MY SITUATION AND SAD FOR MANY THINGS. PLEASE SAVE YOR MONEY. THEY DON'T HELP YOU.

There are so many untrue statements posted on here that I have to comment...

I previously attended the Van Nuys campus and it is not a scam. They give you a great education in 8-9 months and help you find work. The placement rate is at 90%, but of course the 1 out of 10 student that did not get placed will be upset while the 9 out of 10 have no complaints. 90% were placed in a career in last years reporting period.

They have 7 Career Services counselors, not 4, and 800 students, not 8 thousand...lol.

The truth is...if you plan on blaming people for your lack of success while all the tools are given to you, you will not be very successful in school or in life, but if you are a go-getter with a positive attitude, you will be fine. The number one reason why people are not hired is their attitude or feeling entitled. Education will not change that no matter where you go.

Over 80% of the students qualify for grants which is free money from the government. The payment on the loan afterwards is normally $80-120 a month depending. I make about $2,500 a month after graduating and would not be making this without UEI.

If you don't plan on working, you will hate going to any school because in the end, you will have to work and repay your loan and some people just don't want to.

Do you research and don't let others discourage you. Everyone has their own situation and UEI was great for me. I got hired through the externship and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend 4 years in a traditional college.

I am currently attending van nuys the only reason why i am still continuing because I am goin to end up paying anyways... I cant complain with the instructor I had she was great amazing... but the school wise is very unprofessional, not organized whats so ever..

during your orientation you were told that a person from the career service will be helping you finding and getting to do your extern but lately alot of my classmates been graduating and they are all telling me differently, they have been the one thats been looking for a clinic to do their extern, 2 of my other classmates who graduated and done their extern yet the person trhat was supposed to be helping you is NOT helping at all...

I think this school is bogus... its a waste of money, very unprofessional, school wise... on top of that some of the instructor there are so unprofessional, very rude and they dont even have degree on anything... I was lucky with the instructor I had very professional have knowledge and I learned alot thats the biggest reason why I stayed..

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE AT ALL... if I can take back time I wish I should've done more research on this school before I even enrolled here..
