"I am happy I chose to transfer from my previous school. Everyone has been super kind and helpful. My previous school was very hands-off. Also, the online program was not set up like UMA. The courses were work at your own pace and not broken down into weeks like UMA."

"Every instructor I have had in my few months have been amazing. Their dedication to my education have been top notch. They are very fair with grading and are willing to help if I am ever in need. The Learner Services are amazing. If I ever feel like I'm struggling they are there to assist me. They also bring my confidence up wth the amount of praise I receive. The congratulate me on a job well done as well as my grades. I know if I'm ever in trouble they are there to assist me. They are a big part in my 4.0 GPA."

One of the best things about of this school is that everyone make sure you succeed in your program by offering lots of help on school assignments and other resources to help you out. If your interested in working in the healthcare field I would recommend UMA."

"I chose UMA because it gave me the chance to get a degree and still be at home with my daughter. It has surely been a struggle at times trying to juggle everyday life and college work but I made it happen. UMA gave me the knowledge of how to schedule my life with my school work. Being diagnosed with MS in December made me feel like giving up on school but with the help of my advisor I made it through. I'm proud to say that I graduate on June 12th I made it. My advice to anyone who may think it's to late take the step in the right direction your life is not over yet."

"my experience at UMA has been great so far!! They are on top of things and will call me often to make sure I don't have questions or need anything, my student advisor is pretty cool, but for the most part I just know what is expected of me each week, and ik where to turn if I have Q's. I'm so excited to graduate in 2022!! Finally some stability in my life, I would highly recommend anyone who's serious about a positive move in their life, should get in UMA and create a future for themselves!! There's plenty to choose from!!"

"At first the calling were to much, they would call nonstop all day and night to check up on me. I than had to tell my advisor that I do have a life outside of school so if I don't answer the first time leave a voicemail and don't call me servals time out the week. I believe 1-2x out of the week is good enough to check up on the student and the success they are at. Financial Aid isn't much help, you have to call them to see if you will be getting a refund for attending school. If I was a first time student they definitely would of held the extra money instead of sending to you on time. Lastly I will like to discuss the online attending, I believe we should have 1say out of the week for zoom lesson. Instead of having to do everything on our own. 9x out 10 people are to shy to reach out to professor and that is why they end up failing or dropping out. It will be a great edition. Some of the emails the professors sends out ARE OVERWHELMING BACK TO BACK EMAILS OF CLASSWORK. Everyday they are sending out emails. I don't even know how to opt out of it. Other than that I enjoyed my advisor but she supposed to change soon (new policies from the school) this will be the 3rd one and I'm only 2months into school, Wooh the confusion and the relationship built is now gone. I still believe we should only have to log in 2x out a week (like Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) because again due to outside life it get stressful trying to multitask and find time."

"I was at a time in my life where I was in need of a change of careers. When I started UMA, I had just lost my mother a few days before starting classes at UMA. It was very hard at first learning about some of the things that my mother died from, but at the same time it was very healing. UMA has helped me stay focused on what I am wanting to achieve for myself, they have been by my side every step of the way. The advisors help you out as much as they can and if they can not help you they will get someone who can. The instructors are also great, they answer you with in 24hrs and to me that is the best. Lets not forget to mention that UMA will help with your resume, help find you a job, and they are there any time you need help. I know going to an accredited school and having a 4.0 GPA is school will look better on me than not having any education at all in the medical department. UMA is helping me start my life over with a new out look and I am very confident in myself after goin to this school. I think UMA is a great school for medical billing and coding, you learn everything you can think of. I had some classes for medical terminology, computer classes, EMR records, and plenty more. It is a great school to attend, one other thing that helped me out a lot was my advisors being kind to me and letting me know that my mom would be so proud of me for working so hard and keeping my 4.0 GPA. I know that they never knew my mom, but when someone has a big enough heart to know that your mom would be proud is a very big deal to me. Going through school and morning your family is not a easy task to do, but with UMA's help I am almost done with my Associates degree. Thank You UMA for helping me, standing by me to help me, and always having a kind heart. Iva Morgan"

"GREAT SCHOOL! and AWESOME SCHOOL STAFFS what else could you ask for? I didn’t see myself doing an online school from out of my state, but coming across with UMA I never thought I’ll be attending the school. On searching for perfect school I came across on schools who never help me out knowing it’s my first time attending school coming from a foreign country. But I’m still thankful for that as I might not have found the perfect one! UMA is amazing! I love the school stuff! They’re awesome you will never feel that you are alone, you will never feel your doing online school at all because of the full support! How much more if you’re doing an actual class? I’m very glad I came across UMA and very thankful that I’ll be able to achieve my dreams with their full support! THANK YOU UMA!"
