"Don't get me wrong, it seems as if the people are nice and want to help, but is it really morally right rushing people to sign a contract so you will then be automatically enrolled? They don't tell you to read anything in the "enrollment agreement" either. They just say "scroll to the bottom and click agree" as you are talking to them over the phone. Also, if you go through the enrollment process and change your mind, you only have 72 hours to cancel until you are locked down and have to pay money. This is ridiculous and I felt as if I was coerced into doing this. I just wanted to talk on the phone to learn more about the program. This is very misleading!"

"Ultimate Medical Academy is a awesome school. The advisors are very helpful and caring to the students and the instructors are very responsive and helpful, also. I have enjoyed attending school and if I plan to further my education in the medical field, I will definitely enroll in this school."

"After working with this school for a month I was cancelled from enrollment twice with out any contact or reason given. They provided me numerous times with incorrect information and told me I should call the IRS because they information on the IRS website was wrong. I was repeatedly called within an hour from 3 different people about the same thing. My student advisor was changed on me without any notice. I was interrupted repeatedly while talking with Dominique. I would not recommend this school to anyone ever!"

"Well i would like to say this school is a real big joke because i have student debt for 16000 and a associates degree that i cant do anything with so i just pay for a piece of paper. Cause every job the career service set for me has nothing to do with my degree or i do have enough of experience i would suggest yall to include some clinical for hands on experience to help further help us understand it better and do bother telling to email yall or contact the anyone because i am done. I will be contacting a college board to get the school closed permanently. So if you or close take my student away."

"I am loving my decision to continue my education and for doing it here at UMA! I am currently in my 6th class and just started my 16th week of class. My experience here at UMA has been nothing short of amazing! My student advisors have been absolutely amazing, especially my first advisor Ruth. They call me on a regular basis and help me with any questions or problems I am having. They also have given me a lot of praise for getting all of my work done and turned in as well as about my grades and GPA> Tech support has also been very helpful as well. Any technical problem I have had, like getting the interactives to work, they have fixed it in a timely manner. My instructors have been extraordinary! They answer any and all of my messages and questions within a couple of hours. They also explain their answers to my questions in great detail to help me be able to complete the work. The instructors are very knowledgeable about the topic they are teaching. They have also been very kind, caring and motivational. Most of the instructors send out motivational emails and announcements every week which I have found very helpful. One of my instructors even granted me a one day extension on my discussion one week because I was having health issues and had to go to the emergency room. This school offers a lot of resources to the students. They even have a virtual library and can " Ask the librarian". They also offer a writing center where you can submit your work for review to ensure that you are not committing plagiarism and that you are including correct citations where needed, as long as you complete your work before the due date. This school as a whole has been amazing! I recommend that anyone looking to get an Associates degree in the medical field should attend this school!"

"Its a scam!!! The classes are okay but you don't learn much and the career advisors are a joke!! Before I enrolled with them, I was told my tuition included the $300 certification exam and now that I've graduated, they're telling me I was never told its included. I wrote down everything I was told. And the career advisors set me up with an interview for an office 15 HOURS away from where I live, they set me up with an interview for a VET, and for a debt collection agency. Nothing to do with my degree. I do not recommend anyone to pay their outrageous amounts for substandard teaching."
Kaitlyn - 11/5/2019

Hi Meg - Thank you very much for reaching out to us. Certifications are considered an addition to the career training you receive at UMA and is not required to graduate. Classes at UMA help prepare you to take state certification exams and if you meet eligibility requirements and pass state certification exams, you’ll get your certification which can help you stand out as an applicant. "This school is terrible! I called to receive information about the program, after about twenty minutes on the phone. I had talked to the representative and told her I liked what I had heard. She then instructed me that I had to see if I was eligible to enroll, I asked her to go about that. She walks me through and tells me she will call me back when she finds out. About 20 minutes later, I have student finances calling me asking me to set up my loan. Although, I had never actually enrolled. The staff did not inform me that seeing if you're eligible to enroll automatically signs you up for classes. I called multiple times and spoke to four different people about cancelling my enrollment. The first two people I spoke to had never processed my cancelation and I was still getting calls from student finance office. Still waiting to see if my cancellation went through, they said it takes 48 hours. Do not fall for this, if they tell you you have to be approved before you can enroll!"

"I have never had a school offer me so much support. They walked me through the Orientation and Financial Aid process. Made it so easy for me to reach my goals and simplified the process. Grateful to have a school that actually cares. Career-focused training is a great add on to your resume!! Career services helped me so much doing mock interviews. HAPPY TO BE A PUMA!!"

"I was told that my disbursement check was cut and mailed on 2/28/19 it is now 3/19/19 and i have yet to receive it and i have called multiple times and all i get is "it was put in the mail allow 7-10 business days" I spoke with the post master in Tampa as well as in Florissant where I live and I also have mail watch and I was told that either the school has prepared it and not sent it or it was just never sent. Then the school tells me that after 15-business days that they can stop payment and cut me a new check which will be another three week process. What I dont understand is that UMA mailed me a student id card that was dated 3/8/19 and i received it 3/11/19. I receive books, and binders that they mail within three days but a check I have not received. No management seems to care about my "check" Im going to report this to everyone I can. DO NOT ENROLL HERE! I had told my friends about it and they were interested in enrolling but I will be sure to let them know not to. This is sad because I believe that they did not mail my check. They should have mailed the check priority. and or mail my new one that way. I am going to call the place that I took the loan out from and report this!"
