"Good school no problems that were serious. Only problem I have is when will I receive my disbursement check in the mail if I have filled my information and authorization from and received my award letter. I think that the instructors were good in every class and they are helpful in extending time for completion of assignments if need be. The enrollment process is simple as well. A few normal problems like any other school but I grade this school overall to b a B+."

"UMA has one of best online programs out there. It was easy to maneuver through and the professors were always a phone call away. I graduated with a degree in Medical Office Administration and the skills I learned at UMA has definitely helped me in my field."

"UMA was a great run when I first started in Sept 2014 but after I enrolled for the second time to obtain my associates it was a big mistake! Back to back calls, hard time getting my money AFTER they received there's. Just a big hassle with this school."

"DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!! The classes are easy to take online and the teachers are very nice, but it's the financial department that is AWFUL! I have been getting the run around trying to get my financial aid and loans going. It has been since March when I filled out my FAFSA and I'm STILL getting the run around with my loans. First they said I needed to amend my taxes dated back to 2013 and didn't even tell me why I needed them amended. When I talked to my tax preparer she told me that school has no idea what they are talking about and I didn't itemize my taxes to need to even get them amended. When I told my school this they then told me I needed to get a letter head stating this. Once I done so, they then had another excuse and told me I needed to go to the IRS website and get a ax transcript mailed to me. After finally getting all of this sent to me and me emailing all of this information, they then told me I had to get my 2015 taxes amended once again! I then went to H&R block and put the financial department on the phone and once I put him on the phone they then told him they didn't need me to amend them anymore after giving me they run around. When I finally think I have done everything they needed they then tell me all of my things are under review. I then have to wait weeks to find anything out. I then called yesterday to check on my loans and they told me to call back today (9/20/16) so I did. The guy then gives me the run around on trying to no mail me my left over loan money, and telling me how they can increase my school tuition at any time so they are setting the money back if that does happen. He then puts me on hold for 10min and comes back on the line and says he has a meeting he needs to go to and he will call me back. I'm done with this school and their b/s. I'm going to see about transferring. All I'm saying is, do not go here. You will get the run around and end up paying more money than what they actually say your school is going to be."

"I wish I had never enrolled into UMA. Contacting your advisor is nearly impossible as well as passing. I was not even told when my class begun. I only knew 2 weeks in when my email confirmed a delivery of my books . by then i was 2 weeks behind. Leaving me with a failing grade overall by 2 points . I still have not hear back from my advisor. Please look into whatever school your thinking about and dont' end up having to pay back all the money borrowed like i now have to with no degree at all."

"Some of the people that work at the school don't understand that you have a schedule and don't call when they say. Other than that my degree has gotten me into a job that has been my "foot in the door". You can it expect to leave school and start making a lot starting out. You have to start from the bottom and make your way up. The courses I took really did help me to get to where I am."
Hailey Wood - 7/13/2016
