"Cutting straight to my main grievance, when I reached out the UMA to get more information I did not nor would I ever want them to call and press gang me into signing up for their course. It was an absolute ambush from the very beginning and is shameful behavior from any institution. There is also the matter of the constant phone calls, all hours of the day any time no matter what you tell them about your availability, you will get a phone call, and if/when you pick up don't be surprised when there's no one on the phone to speak with. I've received multiple calls in the middle of my work day that I'll excuse myself to answer, only to get an empty line for a moment and then hung-up on. There's also the matter of the course work itself, absolute dredge work, you'd be better served ordering the textbooks themselves and just reading them at your own pace, that's all you'll do in this course anyways. TL;DR- just buy the textbooks and apply to a pharm tech position, they will happily train you and you wont be stuck in a 2 year long course staring at a screen wishing you were anywhere else."

"I personally love UMA. I am able to still be a full time mom while being a full time student as well because of the programs’ flexibility. The instructors and advisers are very supportive, and informative. I think the thing I love the most about UMA is all of the encouragement and support that the team provides. UMA was one of the best choices I have made in a long time."

"UMA has helped me through school with guidance and support helping me academically strive to be the best student I can be. I’ve learned and accomplished a lot since I’ve been attending classes online. l’m a better student now, sister, friend, and caregiver to my mom. I’m a better person intelligent and smart. UMA helped me mentally by helping my mind work to excel. Thanks UMA and Instructors."

"Do not go here they are cold-hearted people. I had a death in my family and did not do as well as I would have if I would have been in a better state of mind and now they are trying to force me to do tutoring when I have a 4.0 GPA. Go to another school do not go here. They have a strict no retake policy unless a computer glitch. It should also cover extenuating circumstances like the death of a loved one, natural disaster. Things happen that are sometimes not in our control. Plus they don't tell you that you can break it down into sections just keep it to the one-hour limit. They let you have two attempts in your classroom work but that is all nothing else. So I would check into other schools just not this one. When you call to talk to a head person they shuffle you to someone else. I told them I wanted to talk to the Dean, they sent me to the student affairs dept. Every school I have ever been to if you wanted to talk to the Dean go talk to them, they had an open-door policy. I had one that would walk around and talk to her students. RUN DO NOT LOOK BACK DO NOT GO HERE."

"I love how involved you student advisor is and how they show that they care. Heather calls at least twice a week to keep me motivated. Without her bubbly personality i dont know where I would be with school. You can call for help with assignments and the instructors are great at giving you information."

"Although I am still currently attending, this has been one of my best life decisions. The team here is amazing especially for online students! There are so many resources that are available and the staff really works with you to help you succeed! My learning experience ere ends soon with graduation being a few months away, but it was a very positive experience and I highly recommend this school!"

"UMA gets an extra star for the support. But in terms of quality of education it wasn't challenging enough and English should be one of the first courses because these students need to learn how to write professionally and in general. Some of the discussions were great but the responses to those prompts that I read from my classmates felt like I was in elementary school and not college. Also there is no true interaction and in a program like pharm tech or even medical assisting being hands on is where you really going to gain your experience and retain information because of the repetition. And the cost of the degree which is 27k is a bit much especially if you have aspirations of pursuing higher education. Their institutionally accredited as well. Regional accreditation is the way to go for credibility and flexibility to transfer credits and as a current hiring manager education from a great school scores cool points with me. Teach your students APA formatting from Day 1 UMA so your students will be more successful because the chicken scratch I read while I was attending is very unacceptable. I understand some people haven't been to school in years but that's no excuse when there are a ton of resources out there as well as youtube. Part 2 of my review coming soon."

"Before I graduated high school, I knew that I did not want to go to a university. I knew I needed more of the one-on-one, hands on experience. I applied to Chattahoochee Community College and my personal experience was awful. My life has always been hectic and I started missing days. Eventually I was on the verge of flunking out. That’s when my mom recommended Ultimate Medical Academy. At first I was completely against it. I was thinking to myself, “how am I gonna learn anything over a computer?” After a lot of contemplating and persuasive talks from my mom, I applied. Since that day Ultimate Medical Academy has been there helping me every step of the way. They provide ample amount of resources to help you learn and complete your assignments. They give you the chance to take your tests twice, they give you extra credit opportunities, and they call and check up on you and your progress throughout your courses. If you have any questions or need help, all you have to do is call or send them an email and generally I received a call back or a reply within two days. All of what I just listed, is not even half of what all this school offers. My mom got me to apply, and now my little sister is applying. So, if you are wanting a career in the medical field and you need a flexible school schedule, UMA is for you! 10/10 I highly recommend!"

"My review of (UMA) ULTIMATE MEDICAL ACADEMY is that when I first starting out at this university in 2016 as an online student everything seemed great, I had the opportunity to work with great learning instructors who were very informative and knowledgeable in assisting me with learning material and inquiries relating to my coursework in pharmacy math and calculations. At the time I felt inspired and it felt good to have the guidance and support of my experienced instructors, but, after a short while into 2017 all of a sudden that changed the university had cut the pharmacy learning labs indefinitely without warning, or notice which drew up some big concerns to me as a loyal student trying to exhaust all resources in me gaining the required skills to graduate and earn my degree but shame, shame, this university has truthfully robbed me of my tuition, I am not getting the best education that I am paying for, and I'm am furious with this university I want to know what is my tuition going towards, and what is the means of this. This university had taken away one of the most valuable resources to me that was meant to assist me in growing as a student and professional, this is tragic to me and now my overall experience I hoped for from this university is not close to what I expected. But what I especially hate about this place is working with the academic advisor they tend to lack diplomacy and knowledge in accurately maintaining a positive student-advisor relationship. I do find that the university is deficit in a lot of areas and that organization is their biggest sum, they're so unorganized and it's so extreme that you will question your decision of why choosing UMA was the best choice, to begin with, and after learning about the character of this university it will be upsetting big time!. My only positive experience I have had at UMA is having the pleasure of work with the greatest instructors there Mrs. P. and A. H. other than that I would definitely say that this university surely needs a big upgrade in staff, administration arrangement, and professionalism because right now it is a big headache and very unorganized."

"LET ME START OFF BY SAYING THAT I JUST STARTED UMA. AND PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY DO NOT I REPEAT PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. MOST OF THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FROM THEIR OWN DEPARTMENT. I CANT TELL YOU HOW DISGUSTED I AM WITH THIS SCHOOL. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSE WHERE. I AT FIRST READ THE REVIEWS TOO AND THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE THEM A CHANCE. WRONG!!!! AND I SERIOUSLY REGRET IT. I WISH I WOULD HAVE STOPPED AT THESE REVIEWS AND CHOSE SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO. THEY ARE LIARS, THEY RAISE YOUR TUITION WITHOUT TELLING YOU AND THEN SAY THAT THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO DO IT WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. DON'T DO IT PLEASE ONE STUDENT TO THE NEXT. WHEN I TOLD THEM A MONTH LATER THAT I WANTED TO DROP OUT THEY THREW EVERY EXCUSE THAT THEY COULDN'T TRANSFER ME TO THE DEPARTMENT THAT HANDLES MATTERS LIKE MINE. I TRIED CALLING BACK TO GET SOMEONE ELSE THEY WILL PUT YOU ON HOLD TO READ THE NOTES AND THEN SAY OH IM SORRY THAT DEPARTMENT IS NOT AVAILABLE. LOL. THEY ARE A JOKE. AND IT WONT BE LONG BEFORE THEY ARE SUED. IF YOU WANT TO GET STOLEN FROM, LIED TO, STRESSED OUT, THEN BY ALL MEANS THIS IS THE SCHOOL FOR YOU. BUT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE THE HEADACHE THEN DON'T GO. AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME GO ON FACEBOOK TO THEIR WEBSITE AND YOU WILL TRULY SEE HOW CRAPPY THEY REALLY ARE. PEACE AND LOVE FOLKS."

"I completed the Pharmacy Technician program and went on to get my Associates Degree through UMA. I was able to fit both programs into my schedule while working full-time and raising my daughter. It was a struggle, but UMA made it possible for me to start a career and provide a better life for my family. They even set everything up for me to interview with a new and rapidly growing independent pharmacy, which landed me a great job as a compounding tech."

"I was an online student at UMA. The advisers were very friendly and very helpful. I wish I could have met them all in person. I no loner use my degree tho bc the state that I live in does NOT except online degrees. So I now have over $14,000 in student loans on something I can't use. When going for online programs, make sure your State Board excepts the School and or Online schooling in general."

"I started school at UMA in may of 2016 and so far I love my classes. They're not too easy but they aren't too hard either. I love my instructors. The only problem I have is that I can't ever get ahold of my student advisor for any questions I have . I always catch her machine which I always leave a message and never get called back. They never call me to see how I'm doing . other than that, ultimate medical academy is awesome. And the person above who said its not an accredited school, where are you getting your info dude?"
