"Do Not go here this school is a scam big time I would have gone to a community college had I known about this school no one has ever heard of this school and if they have none of it is good I had a friend of mine literally laugh when she found out I was attending this school FYI she is a doctor. I started out taking the associate degree in medical coding and billing but decided to take the certificate course instead because they get you all started with coding then switch gears on you a throw you into biology and English well for starters if I needed to take those courses they should have been first then they do not teach you proper medical terminology which is a big part of this job I have a feeling I've just wasted alot of money and alot of time with this school."

"For starters I joined an online school because it was best fit for my lifestyle at the time having two young children. I was very weary for this is my first time attending online school which is not easy but I was motivated to complete the program to make my children proud. My experience with UMA has been absolutely AMAZING. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is ready to take their education to the next level and really serious about completing. I maintained a high gpa throughout my entire program I stayed up long nights studying utilizing all of the amazing resources that the school has given the students. Not to mention the staff is awesome, very attentive, and when they say they'll be there every step of the way, they will. I never felt alone although I live states away it felt like UMA was right here for me. Anyone ready to take education seriously, coming from a UMA graduate, I recommend UMA. Even after you graduate theyre here every step to help find employment. UMA literally has the best career services ive ever witnessed from a college, they care, they want us to find jobs and get everything out of what we signed up for attending this college. This school is excellent from the mock interviews to the professional advice ive learned so much not just with my field of study but how to become a professional in any business venture being goaled. I cant express this enough UMA has helped me grow in so many ways from my education level to my over all professional presentation. I will continue my education with UMA and it is worth every penny."

"This school is unreliable. They tell you that they will help but they don't. Their Financial aide dept only wants the aide from the government but is unwilling to help give accurate information. They hound you but don't help or offer a solution. They're not that good."

"I graduated with high honors, on the honor roll every quarter. I felt the school was rather easy. I had issues with a few of the instructors. One would not answer any questions I had. I had tried to reach her by business phone, cell phone and email. It took over a week to get her to respond. I then was basically blown off with my needs. I rarely reached out for help but when I needed it I felt no one was there for me. My other issue was I was told my cost for Diploma and Associates program would be a total of $17000. When I finished my diploma program I owed with interest $17000 and they want another $10000 for the Associates program. I feel like I was lied to and swindled. My spouse who's getting a Bachelors Degree with an actual university is spending a total of $22000! I feel like I was ripped off!! I cannot say I would recommend this program to anyone just based on the cost factor."

"I, graduated from " Ultimate Medical Academy " January 2010 with a ( 3.77 G.P.A. ) " Medical Insurance Billing Coding Specialist " A.S. Degree / College Diploma. The instructors their was excellent, and the tuition payment plan was ok but they need a monthly payment plan in which at the time was not offered to me. I also graduated from this college when it was "Ultimate Learning Center in " March 1998 " with a ( 4.0 G.P.A. 90 % ) Certified Nursing Assistant , and Home Health Aide. I would recommend this college to anybody ."

Extremely dissatisfied - 9/28/2016
Degree: Medical Billing & Coding
Graduation Year: 2012
"While I was attending I couldn't be more happy. Each person I spoke to went above and beyond to get the answers I needed. I recently moved and have contacted uma to help find a job, as that's supposed to be part of the tuition. However, it's going on 3 weeks and I'm still waiting on a call from my career advisor. I spoke to someone yesterday who promised me an email and a call back, it been almost 24 hours and I haven't received either one. Each time I call, they demand my name before they will attempt to help me, when I refuse because I will have to verify with the next person, they say there is nothing else they can do. They offered to take my name and have someone call me back, but to me it's just another lie because I've been waiting for nearly 3 weeks. Not to mention no matter what number you call, it's always"classroom support" and there's not even an option for alumnus. I'm extremely upset and disappointed that what was promised and the key reason I chose uma, has proven to be false. Be careful before choosing uma."

"I struggled with the online program I didn't always feel the program was geared towards working adults. I had issues with my computer and opted to use their computer program it was great at first then when I had issues with it no one seemed to know how to help and had me going in circles calling to get help with my computer issue. I graduate soon and it isn't resolved yet. I am so frustrated and upset and don't feel I was able to give a 100 percent to the program."
Kerri Mentz - 9/13/2016

"Studying with UMA was the BEST decision I ever made. From the first chat with the gentleman to get me enrolled up to and even after graduation, UMA has been there. They got me through my studies, helped me organize my life, helped me upgrade my skills and has even made it easy to apply and eventually receive the position I have worked so hard for in the area I wanted. Cannot say enough about this school. If ever anyone wants to go into the medical industry, this is the school to pick."

"I choose Ultimate Medical Academy because I was receiving numerous phone calls about furthering my education, it was the best decision that I have made in a very long time. The staff at UMA is wonderful, very supportive and understanding. I have been through so much drama while attending online and they worked with me to give me the best experience ever. I am highly satisfied with UMA and would recommend it to anyone whom would like to "CHANGE THEIR FUTURE"!!!"
