"For the working professional, Union College is a fantastic option. As a student, Union provides you with all of the tools necessary to succeed. While working full-time, and running a business, I was allowed to complete my bachelors degree at a pace that accommodated my busy work schedule and lifestyle. Great staff, instructors, and financial aid options."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Union College in Kentucky. I have made connections with some really great people, both instructors and students. Having gone back to school 20 years after graduating high school was a challenge considering how much things have changed, but with great instructors, a desire to learn, and a good work ethic, I don't believe there is anything a student cannot achieve if they so desire. These things are exactly what I have found at Union. As a commuting wife and mother, that has been a pretty big deal to me. I would recommend Union to anyone. Who knows? Maybe I will teach there one day myself."

"Union College has a beautiful, small friendly campus, low student-teacher ratio, and caring staff. The emphasis is on what is really important."

"Great student to faculty ratio and lots of individual instruction and mentoring, especially in the Sociology department. Great facilities. Writing Across the Curriculum courses are research and writing intensive. I recommend exploring courses instead of focusing on fulfilling the core curriculum in the first and second year of college. Reading widely in high school will help. Professors in Sociology Department were always encouraging and helpful and there to guide you throughout your studies."

"Union is awesome, some individuals don't try as hard as others. Certain professors strive harder than others do! The focus of the college and most administrative staff is trul that of Unions slogan "1:1". While the presidents office staff holds nothing to the welcoming presence of the college campus in the foothills of eastern Kentucky, and more importantly the applacian mountains; the majority of the staff are! That is one problem I have, wjen I returned a call to the president of the college I was alerted by her staff that of I was deemed important she would return my call. I graduated in 2013 with a BS in Psychology, a Certificate of Chemical Dependency Counseling and a 4.0 GPA; I'm still waiting on that returned call. Now the psychology program is awesome! By far one of the best... That also explains why I still attend Union, completing my MA in Clinical Psychology. Just focus on the good things! The college is welcoming (most staff included), it's quant, small and well landscaped at all times. The tuition is slightly inflated, but well worth the expense to attend the first college build in the applacian mountains... Private education at its finest!"
