"I liked it. It's a rising star in the law school world, so even though I am a small town local girl, I had classmates from all over the country. It was extremely competitive, but I feel that I got a good education, if not realistic expectations about the job market."

"Alabama offers an excellent education at a reasonable (though growing) cost. It is highly ranked and yet affordable, a great value. The faculty and administration are accessible, involved, and outstanding. Living expenses are relatively low. Despite the workload and academic rigor, the school atmosphere is generally supportive."

"The University of Alabama School of Law is a nationally competitive law school that provides all students a great learning experience and the feel of a familial environment. Yes, the students are competitive, but not to the point of taking adverse actions. The competition merely manifests itself through studying and on exam day where the other student will simply just outwork another student not cut corners or make someone's academic experience difficult. Additionally, the social life at the law school is a lot of fun and events are constantly being held within the law school, down on the strip, or even in conjunction with other graduate programs. Overall, a fantastic law school environment and experience that prospective students should seek out to see if our school is the right fit for you!"

"My graduate program at The University of Alabama is one I'm proud to be associated with. The faculty and staff are some of the warmest and most helpful people I've ever met. At UA, you are not simply a student or a number--you are they reason they are there. The school continues to bring in top notch professors and advisors, constantly striving to be better. That is what I love most about UA. The community at UA is also exciting. The "up and coming" area of Tuscaloosa is transforming this former "college town" into a vibrant city. As much as I love UA, there is something to say for the lack of diversity. I do believe it is getting better, but racial and ethnic groups are still very underrepresented in this area. As no school is perfect, however, I have been very pleased with my experience thus far and am looking forward to continuing my education."

"UA Law is the best law school in the Southeast and the most affordable in the U.S. Alabama is a highly competitive school, but the campus culture is one of the most supportive I've seen among law schools nationwide."

"Excellent program overall. As with any growing program, there are always frustrating factors and situations, but the trajectory of this school is clearly going up."

"The teachers were very accessible. Tuscaloosa is a great town also, one that's not too big or too small. If you're looking to stay in the south, UA has a terrific law school."
