"The instructors are very understanding, the labs teach scientific thinking as well as the concepts required in the course, and they have an on-campus health service. However, I know they advertise themselves as having "300 days of sunshine", but in Arizona that is not a good thing, the first and last month of the academic year the temperatures will be in the 90s or even reach triple digits."

"The University of Arizona was a fantastic institution to complete my undergraduate degree at. Its large College of Science and immense Biology program helped mold me into a graduate ready student. The classes are well-thought out and insightful, and allow for the best to be brought out in the student. Whether it's analyzing scientific literature, or providing you with hands-on experience in the field of your choosing. the University of Arizona is a great scientific institution."

"I believe the University of Arizona is a great school for students who would like to earn a degree in the sciences. Most of my teachers were incredibly knowledgeable, and always have office hours in case you need a bit of extra help (which is often necessary with college level science classes!). Though the teachers are great, it is the responsibility of the student to be sure they are on track. The UofA is still a large school, and it can be difficult to get the appropriate counseling on which classes to take which will be beneficial for your future goals, while also contributing towards getting your degree. Fortunately, there are many great clubs on campus, which is extremely helpful to build relations with students with similar goals as your own. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the UofA, and feel my classes, especially my upper division classes, have prepared me for moving on to Physician Assistant school."

"The University of Arizona has amazing professors that really care about the quality of education their students receive. Upon entering the university, I learned about the amount of research opportunities available to students and the amount academic advising available to guide students to their goals. I have a pre- med advisor and neuroscience advisor, which gives me the ability to not only plan my bachelor degree schedule out, but also to prepare for medical school by coordinating my bachelors degree classes with ones that will prepare me for graduate level work. With out all the resources that were available to me at the University of Arizona I think would be third year student with no idea about what I want to do and how to get there."

"The University of Arizona is a tier one research school (highest level) so it is GREAT if you are interested in a science degree! I was able to work in a research lab and it was an opportunity that allowed me to get into medical school. I will always love this school!"

"I loved most aspects of this school. Being a science major, the courses were rigorous and tough. Some of the professor were there to help you when you needed it while others could care less. One thing that I think would be more beneficial would be to have more science based tutors in the Think Tank (which is the on-campus tutor center), especially for the upper level courses. Also, more career service opportunities within the science realm would be nice. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed my four years here."

"The University of Arizona was an amazing experience for my undergraduate studies. It is a community comprised of many different types of individuals and will encourage you to find your place. As a freshman from out of state, I felt immediately welcomed on campus by so many of the other students in my dorm. Also, the education and guidance that I received truly helped me on my way to medical school this upcoming fall. The only qualm I can think of is that it requires a greater amount of focus than many other schools. Because the University of Arizona is located in an amazing climate with constant sunshine, there is a tendency for a percentage of the student population to perform poorly academically and withdraw. If you are a dedicated student and are self-motivated, the University of Arizona is an incredible, large institution that will help to bolster your education and future career. BEAR DOWN!"

"The U of A has a beautiful campus and active on-campus student life. It is a research institution which provides access to experts in many fields. There are lots of professors who seem to love teaching in addition to their research. Technology resources are impressive and faculty seems to be attempting to actively improve their pedagogy. Students, alumni, and Tucson residents are very devoted to UA sports, especially basketball and football."

"Great campus. U of A students, alumni, and Tucson residents are enthusiastic about football and basketball. There seemed to be a good mix of professors who are interested in research and professors interested in teaching."
