"UCLA is one of the top Universities in the world and offers a variety of courses that allow students to discover their true passion. I initially went into UCLA as a pre-med student and after taking some of the pre requisite courses I found myself in agony. Thankfully, UCLA offers great guidance counselors to help students figure out the right path for themselves if they aren't on it initially. I also highly recommend UCLA's AAP program. AAP offers free tutoring to those who are registered to it, as well as an entire community that will be by your side from the start of your degree to the end. I enjoyed every moment of my undergraduate studies there and could not think of a more diverse and stimulating college. In addition, the campus holds little to be desired as it has gorgeous architecture and sculpture gardens and fountains to name a few."

"UCLA is a wonderful school with a lot of opportunity. If you love to read and learn history through someone else's eyes I highly recommend an English degree. Not only is it versatile for future career options but the professors on campus help you understand how and why the writers say things the way they do. I am very proud of my UCLA degree and I feel anyone else who attends will feel the same"

"The diverse student body and faculty, advanced research facilities, and standard of achievement are truly the cornerstones of the academic ethics of UCLA. The school's promotion of collective unity and embracement of diversity made me feel comfortable in an environment where my differences were accepted. The faculty and academic support was consistent with professors and aides clearly stating office hours and devoting significant effort into each student's success. The academic and social environment stimulated a mutually inspiring environment in which I was able to contribute to the academic integrity of UCLA."

"I have been able to find steady jobs, due to my UCLA degree, since the name holds a higher prestige. The expectations and qualifications of a UCLA grad is always higher and finding a position with the district and/or charter school was fast and easy. The time, dedication and patience are qualities that one already attains as a student at UCLA. Every job has its challenges and my only regret is not completing the minor in psychology, because it supports the field of education and it would have made my experience easier. I enjoyed all of the psychology courses I studied, when I first started attending UCLA in 2000; I was fortunate enough to be one of the students in Doctor Ivar Lovaas' class, one of the first doctors and researchers of autism. He developed discrete trial teaching and his hard work has given the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and therapy serves as a guide for therapists and educators all over the world. Since I aspire to study Applied Behavior Analysis, I feel proud to have been a student at UCLA; When I tell others that I was his student, I feel like I was one of Einstein's students. It has been the most positive, exciting and challenging part of my life and I'm so grateful for attending UCLA."

"UCLA was the best decision that I could have made. I was out of state so the tuition was the same as attending a private university elsewhere. The campus is lovely, the students engaged and the teaching staff was always available to answer questions and help guide me on my journey. UCLA is the total package school, a world class education with exciting sports and all the life that Los Angeles has to offer. I will always cherish the four years I spent there and the people I met. Go BRUINS!"

"Spending four years at UCLA to get my bachelor's was the best choice I made. It is such a vibrant school, full of energetic and curious individuals doing so many different things. I came from a small private high school of 750 students total, but was able to find a niche in such a large student body."

"UCLA was a fantastic place to study as an undergrad. I was given a lot of flexibility in choosing courses which both appealed to my interests and my future career goals. When I decide 2.5 years in that a Bachelor's of Science was not for me, dedicated counsellors helped me to find the right path to graduate on time with a B.A. I was incredibly happy in my B.A. program, and found that in addition to top-rated faculty-led classes, UCLA offered so many opportunities to pursue my academic (and entertainment) interests outside of class with guests lecturers and visiting performances. Finally, when I graduated, I had a job offer directly related to my degree. Since that first job, I know that when employers see UCLA on my resume, they associate it with high quality and standards."

"Studying at UCLA was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my entire life. Not only did I get a world class education (I studied English literature, French, LGBT studies, and music history), but there were always a ton of amazing things to do and experience within campus limits, and especially further out in the city of Los Angeles. I became an active member in the Office of Residential Life, befriended band members and theatre actors, watched movie premieres in Westwood, cheered on Sara Bareilles and Maroon 5 at Spring Sing, and made lifetime friendships with people I still spend holidays with today. If you have a lust for life and an urge for knowledge, there is no better place than UCLA."

"The English Language and Literature program at UCLA will prepare anyone desiring to head upwards toward post graduate degrees, like, Law, Education, Media and other study-intense pursuits. I finished the program with a 2.1 GPA (2.8 overall). Yet, I felt that the program lifted me intellectually. In this program, they have designed it to make you think. And a lot of the program's philosophies follow along the lines of rigor and organization. Even though I felt, at times, that I should have gone into another course of study, I am glad that I completed this program. It has given me much freedom to pursue a wide variety of job opportunities. I highy recommend this program for anyone wanting a true collegiate education that offers your future a diversity and depth of career and life choices."

"UCLA provides access to many resources and experts for students. In the College of Letters and Science, I had many engaging professors that made the academic experience memorable. In addition, UCLA provides the following: - extensive alumni network, - many clubs and extracurricular activities, and - numerous internship possibilities in diverse areas of work and study. Caution: The lectures in my major had many students, so students had to put in effort to meet the professors and graduate assistants."
