"The graduate program is excellent! The professors are straight forward with all assignments and provide examples for what is expected. My personal con it that I have a 7:30am course, but I also know it is due to the fact that I registered kind of late. To be honest, there are way more pros than cons. For the Social Work program, there is a computer lab designed only for MSW students, there is a writing center that is well qualified to aid students in writing the best possible paper, there is a large variety of food choices on and around campus, the shuttle service is excellent, there is a counseling center, and plenty of outdoors space if you ever want to relax and study outside."

"Although my program only just started, I feel like there is already a distinguishable, positive difference between my program at UCF and my previous school, where I am also completing my M.S. degree. Firstly, the attempt of faculty to acclimate the new cohort to graduate school, i.e., providing information on typical anxieties, how to apply for money, how to seek support, is something I lacked previously. I think this would have been great information to know when I started my M.S. degree; and would have saved me lots of stress and confusion. Furthermore, the curriculum is also great as a first-semester student for the same reasons: the faculty if arming the new grad student with information necessary to succeed in scientific research (i.e., providing a Methods course). The only cons I would say is that the living stipend I receive for teaching is just barely livable. While talking to graduate students who have been in the department for some time, it seems to me that there has been no raise for teaching assistants in nearly a decade. As such, I am applying for these external scholarships, including the one on graduateprograms.com here, in order to supplement my income."

"I love UCF as my undergraduate choice of study. There are plenty of resources and so many degree programs to choose form. The college location is perfect for first time college goers and has so much to offer"

"I love my graduate program at the University of Central Florida. The Doctor of Physical Therapy program at UCF is leading the way in educating future clinicians who will be prepared to handle the vast changes arising in healthcare today. My program involves 28 weeks of cadaver lab study, research components, advanced courses in physical therapy specialties, and four different clinical rotations. Since we are part of a very large research university, my classmates and I have access to innumerable resources and great opportunities to work directly with mentors in our field."

"The class sizes were very large. I learned the best in my small classes but they were few and far between. Professors have office hours so you can ask individual questions, however."

"It was a great program and school. All the faculty are very professional, knowledgeable, and care deeply about the growth and development of their students. There are many opportunities to learn about various areas within counseling and gain experience in those areas."

"The pros of this program are that you definitely feel like you are working on something worthwhile, something that you believe in and something you are learning a lot from. There is a huge workload, but I think that it is necessary for me to have, not only to keep busy, but also to show off to interviewers in the future. Tuition is very affordable, even more so now since the program participates in the Florida-Georgia ACM. The only con that I see is that the program is a little ways away from campus; it is in downtown instead, so I will have to use local transportation to get to class. The program is extremely valuable to me and I believe I am getting the best education out there for potential technical artists."

"I learned a lot from the opportunity to success because I too advantage of the professional resources. I am fortunate to have made mistakes and maybe even overcomit to different academic and extra-curricular responsibilities because the faculty and mentors at the school try engage in working with a student to help them understand what the best action to take is. Academically, UCF allowed me to purpose growth not only by giving me the opportunity to double major in marketing and finance but to also pursue a sales certification. Professionally, UCF allowed me to really get exposure to the corporate world by providing college work experience programs and unter national exchange internship programa of which I took advantage by being a co-op student at Lockheed Martin and Siemens Energy as well as being in the internship study abroad program through the office of experiential learning. It was invaluable experiences that taught me the skills necessary to succeed in the real world."

"Hi, my name is K. and I am a freshmen at UCF. I am going in as a mathematical biology majors with the hopes of applying to pharmacy or medicine school at the end of my four years. You must be thinking mathematical biology? that sounds hard. Well to be honest with you it does sound hard because it requires a lot of dedication meaning no wild parties for me. But you should give up on it now because in the end it will be worth it. Word of advise don't give up on it without a fight!"

"It was a very good experience, especially with online classes in engineering. The facilities were rather nice and easy to use, a decent computer lab and classrooms, and a rather expansive and useful campus. There's very little that isn't located on site."

"This is an excellent graduate program with interesting classes and knowledgeable professors. However, the class selection is limited, and the reading load for some classes is excessive for students who are working while in school."

"No complaints. I learned a good deal at my Masters program (UF). Not so much at my undergrad school. UCF was more of a experience that I will never forget. Joining a fraternity helped mold me into the person that I am today. Without that experience I do not know where I would be."

"UCF has a lot of strengths but the humanities, the arts, and philosophy are not among them. There are some fine faculty in these departments but overall I would not recommend attending UCF if these are your interests. (Also, please consider that my review is based on attending from 2004-2008)"

"University of Central Florida is good University. Some of the pros that supports this statement: 1. Excellent campus life 2. Quality Education 3. Job Exposure But it has got some cons: 1. I am from CS department and I have found some teachers are very rude and least supportive. They are enough to ruin your learning experience at UCF"
