"I would recommend University of Cincinnati to very independently driven students. If you can organize and prioritize well then UC is for you. There isn't a lot of guidance from Financial Aid (OneStop) and you are left to your own devices many times to identify sources of grants/scholarships and loans. If you are able to understand and navigate the financial aspects of college then UC is for you."

"As a science major, my classes are extremely difficult. Which was expected. My only real problem with the education quality is there were several poorly lectured general education classes I have had to take for my major - specifically Physiology and Biomechanics. Both are required for my major and the education provided I felt was poor. I did pass both courses with an "A" however it was basically presented in a sink or swim attitude by the instructors and I purchased additional texts to supplement the information not provided by the instructors. The transfer experience was stressful. Many classes were not initially transferred in and I spent many hours on the phone with records and my academic advisor until we hashed out an agreement for transferred courses. I have met some very thorough and informative instructors during my time at UC. All in all the completed coursework has left me prepared for my Graduate studies and that is probably the most important thing about my time spent at UC. I look forward to earning my Masters degree in Occupational Therapy."

"I completed my Masters Degree through their online program, so I have no insight on campus life, etc. However, I enjoyed working with and learning from all of my professors that I encountered through my program. Even though it was online, there was good communication and great learning opportunities. Overall, the University of Cincinnati is a great college."

"The online distance learning program is amazing. It is a wonderful option for the nontraditional student. The professors are experts in their area and encourage/facilitate online learning and dialogue. Professors get back to you quickly and are easy to with. It is easy to post and submit assigments through the Blackboard feature on the UC website. Group work is even completed online with other students in your class."

"Overall, extremely organized program that was straight forward with high expectation from instructors. Surprisingly, I learned not only about criminal justice, but how to become a much better writer. This program is all writing and that comes with preparation and the willingness to learn. The program requires experience in the field instead of a GRE. Students need to submit a resume in order to get accepted. It is a wonderful online experience."

"No communication whatsoever on how you are doing i your course. No help from anyone whatsoever. If you email them goodluck on a response. They took off points from my final grade on something that had nothing to do with my school work. It was due to a one day late email or so they say."
