"The Accelerated MSN program is masterful in that it allows students with a Bachelors' degrees in other fields to seamlessly enter the nursing profession. In addition, students are encouraged to gain experience through working as an RN as they complete the Master's portion of the program as opposed to just completing the Master's and beginning to practice without extensive experience."

"Great program with great faculty but could definitely work on not just getting their PhD students jobs but also their terminal master's degree students as well. They should have an individualized career-goal trajectory setup for each student. Work with the students to setup realistic goals."

"My education at the conservatory at university of Cincinnati was absolutely incredible. I had wonderful performance opportunities and access to some of the best professors in the country for my field. Only downfall is the area in which the school is located."

"Students are extremely motivated and hard-working, yet helpful and generous with fellow classmates. Everybody shares educational resources, which helps a lot when trying to save money on textbooks. Faculty is also amazing and dedicated to education. One minus includes somewhat sketchy neighborhood (Clifton), but Cincinnati has a lot of different neighborhoods that are safe and young professional-friendly."

"My particular graduate program is very engaged. The faculty advise students one-on-one, and they do not do so in a sink-or-swim manner. There are several grants available for graduate students' research and conference travel. Graduate Assistantships are relatively easy to obtain. Fellowships are also available to most students and programs. There are many new initiatives to grow several social science programs and to foster global, urban, and interdisciplinary study."

"UC Graduate program's in the biological sciences are very competitive academically with amazing faculty, access to the best technology, and an amazing stipend program allowing focus on research. Safety can be a concern in the surrounding areas, but Cincinnati as a whole is a safe and beautiful city."

"Overall, it is a good public school. The tuition is getting higher and higher each year but it is still much cheaper than the schools on East or West coast. The city of Cincinnati is getting better and better. Although the safety is still an issue around the school, the police patrol cars are around a lot and keeps it safer. UC focuses on research a lot. If you're into research, it is a great place to go. If you just want to get a industry job, you should go to Miami University, Oxford, OHIO. Also, different programs vary a lot. Make sure that you talk to the alumni or senior students in the program you are interested before you make your final decision. The College of Medicine is super nice and protective to their students. For the college of Engineering, it is the absolutely opposite. They wants to get more and more money from the students by making ridiculous rules. Be aware! Hope these information is helpful to you."

"This is a great school with fantastic students and faculty. Unfortunately, there are high crime rates but these are fine if you're smart about when you get home & where you go. The education quality is fantastic."

"Cincinnati is a great city, and UC has a very diverse graduate science programs. Location within the city leads to increased crime on and near campus. UC takes extensive precautions to minimize these risks such as night walks for those going to their car, night rides to locations near campus, etc."

"The biggest drawback is lack of security on and off campus. A graduate housing may help increase it to some extent."
