"The program itself is very competitive and the medical campus is known nation wide. The campus itself is very modern with new technology in constant use, new furniture for comfortable study areas, and very safe. However, the surrounding area is developing so currently there is some construction going on for the new light rail being built. Fortunately, construction of the new light rail will finish next year, which will greatly increase the ease of using public transportation to get to campus."

"I am in the DPT program. The biggest pro is the amount of hands on that we have early on in the program. The professors are enthusiastic about the material and very helpful. The biggest con is that there were few changes in the program since this year that the program still try to figure out. For instance, have enough sites to offer for the year long internship at the end of the program."

"The buildings and spaces do not match the quality of education given. A rebranding and renovations are well overdue."

"Because the program is a terminal MA program, the graduate students are given much support and guidance. Whether one is interested in pursuing a career in the professional world or the academe, there are professors that can help with both. Choosing your advisor can shape the direction of your program, both in the department, and out. This can be a con, as there seems to be some politics around this issue. Overall, an excellent program with individual attention for those who want to pursue research or those who choose the professional track. Faculty is passionate about their research, and that is inspiring."

"The pros of my program include the diverse array of topics we are exposed to, as well as, the clinical experiences labs. This program is very new and some of the cons include the disorganization a lack of thorough teaching of certain subject matter."

"The Grad program is small, which is beneficial and problematic. It is good because all of the students know one another and we have many classes together. It is a problem because there are limited classes offered. I was not able to take the classes I wanted because they do not have enough professors or resources to offer a variety of courses. The professors are great and overall I did enjoy my time at UC Denver."

"Pros: Near downtown so it is easier for students to commute. All of the courses are offered at night time so it is convenient for students who are working during the day. Cons: Not a lot of specific academic area and lack of good professors"

"Love the program and it's drive to educate future counselors on multiculturalism. The courses were challenging enough to push students, but not overwhelming that students lost sight of the bigger picture. Excellent faculty and peer support."

"The environmental science program at UCD allows you to take a wide range of courses related to environmental science. Students come from many different undergraduate backgrounds and have a wide range of interests, making classes interesting. Being in downtown Denver provides great opportunities for jobs and internships in the field. However, funding for graduate research in this program is scarce."

"It's a program that is still taking shape, but improves every year. The faculty are great, and work hard to make the program more competitive with other universities. The labs do very good research as well. Definitely a program to watch."
