"Since this program is small, you form a community with your peers and the faculty all know you by your first name. There is a sense of cooperation in the department."

"The program is good, a bit small but offers great support for students. The campus is in Downtown Denver so that's another big plus."

"The program is only six years old, however, I think the faculty and staff are doing an exceptional job at insuring the students receive a quality education. I think Colorado is an incredible place to practice public health as there are so many opportunities to explore different facets of public health. I know that as the school continues to develop, the quantity of resources and opportunities will grow exponentially."

"The faculty are great teachers in the classroom and are always available to help students in person and via email. They are very knowledgeable and most are still actively practicing physical therapists. The campus is beautiful and has the most up to date facilities of any program I visited. The program is set up to help students succeed in all aspects of student life in a variety of creative and helpful ways. The whole program and school is revolved around patient-centered care and helping their students become as self-sufficient as possible upon exiting the program."

"Some of the UC dental program's strengths include a very high quality of education, caring faculty and amazingly cohesive student body. The only downside of the school is its location, though some students might like the suburbs more than the city center."

"This is one of the best places in the country, and even in the world, to get a medical education. There are so many opportunities for students: so many roads to take, friends to make, and adventures in which to partake. I am lucky to have the opportunity to be a part of this program."

"Physical therapy definitely takes an investment. Students are taking out loans to pay for tuition as well as living expenses, on top of loans from undergraduate degrees. And post graduation, PT's do not make a lot of money, making loans hard to pay back, but its doable. The great part about UC-Denver is that out-of-state students can apply for residency after 12 months and then pay in-state tuition, making it a better value than other schools. The professors want us to succeed, and though they won't hold your hand and expect a lot of independent learning, they are willing to help you if you're struggling to understand something. The Anschutz Medical Campus is beautiful and the facilities are new and well-equipped. We have the University of Colorado Hospital and Children's Hospital on campus, and share facilities with MD, pharmacy, nursing, PA and dentistry students--emphasizing an interprofessional education. Colorado is a fantastic place to live--I can't think of a place that has more to do and explore than Colorado."

"My graduate program is really flexible and the students that I meet have diverse ideas which helps me think out of the box. The only problem is that there are no scholarships or financial aids that could help us."

"I am just starting my masters, Fall 2014 and what I have experienced so far from UCD has been great. My only concern is being able to pay Out of State tuition for my first year as a non- resident. The affordability for In State is much more practical."

"The graduate program at UC Denver offers a variety of classes that enable students to conceptualize the relationships on various social levels. Recognizing societal norms and constructions brings a counselor to advocate for change, and believe that change is possible (and necessary!). Additionally, UC Denver offers a wide variety of global learning opportunities between semesters, allowing students to grow in diverse ways. The challenge with graduate school is definately affordability. There is a constant evaluation and balance of maximizing the opportunities graduate school offers with the financial reality of student life."

"I realize I have rated UCD high but it is for good reason. To argue my point I really wish to look at the value of my education first in dollars. While I stand firm that education is not what you pay in but what you take out, students make large decisions based on the almighty dollar. For $3500 a semester you cannot beat the location situated in gorgeous downtown Denver. With transportation hubs located around the campus via bus, car, light rail and large biking tracks. The professors in the Graduate Political Science program are beyond passionate but highly qualified through their own educational pursuits but also their work in the field of Political Science. Glenn Morris has helped organized the American Indian Movement, Protests against the Columbus Day parades and even was a writer on the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People. Tony Robinson is best known for his work in Urban politics and work with the homeless, organizing rallies for better living conditions and fair housing. Michael Berry conducted a study that guessed Mitt Romney would win the presidency over Barack Obama. Obviously he was wrong, but the statistical analysis and downright confidence it took to stand for his work has made him well respected. UCD is an amazing institutions with countless bright minds, I will stand tall against anyone who disagrees."
