"The pros of my graduate program are its affordability, accessibility and support of faculty, and the quality of instruction. The faculty in my program make the difference at this institution. Also, the student population is very diverse. The cons of my graduate program are the lack of financial aid for those who are in graduate programs, especially students who are females, single mothers, or who are not in the engineering. The majority of support humanities students receive is through student loans, rather than grants or scholarships."

"The UCD Program is a great program for working students. Having classes in the evenings, on the weekends, and being offered online allowed me to contiue working full time while obtaining my degree. At times, the program seemed a little disorganized. At one point, the semesters that certain classes were offered was changed, which disrupted my Plan for Graduation that I completed at the start of the program. Becuase of this I graduated two semseters later than I anticipated. Even so, I am happy with the choice that I made."

"The faculty is available and sincerely interested in my success, they offer opportunities for further growth constantly. The department is small, so it's great for getting to know everyone, but bad in that it is not as recognized by other institutions. The department lacks specialty in forensics or linguistics, but is highly represented by those in the medical anthropology realm."

"I am in the Academic Leadership and Policy Studies program, working toward getting an administrator license and an Ed.S. I also have a M.A. from the University of Colorado at Denver. The ALPS is much more rigorous than the my first Master's degree and I feel that it is preparing me well to assume a position as a principal. We'll see what I think of the program once I begin applying for positions, though."

"On Anschutz Medical Campus- great networking, access to multitude of research facilities. Affiliations other schools do not have and expansive technology. Given much flexibility with research"

"The pros are mostly fabulous teachers and clinicals. The Cons are that there are 2 separate UC Denver schools and it would be preferable if they were at the same campus."

"I am very happy with my choice at UC Denver. I am in my first semester and do not live on campus, however I am pleased with everything so far. Where I provided lower ratings is mainly because I have not needed to use those categories as much. As far as financial aid, I did hope to quality for grants and I did not."

"Boring, commuter school. Bioengineering will be a good program one day, but is still really young"

"Overall, I've felt really welcomed to the school. It is a difficult program, but the professors and staff are very supportive. It is a new program and has some kinks to be worked out, but so far, it is a very challenging program, but hopefully it will be rewarding."
