"For accounting, the college of business makes it easy for the student to get their hours to qualify for the CPA and get their masters at the same time."

"I really enjoyed going to U of I, I had wanted the experience of going to a large "Big 10" University. Overall, I thought most of my fellow students were friendly, intelligent, and fun. I liked the majority of my Professors, who were very knowledgeable and approachable. One criticism is that because U of I's Accounting program is so high ranked, some Professors get a little lazy and just assume the students will "figure it out, because you got into U of I, you must be smart!" I like to learn on my own, but I can do that for free. Despite that issue, the CPA review program was top notch. Even though, the Professor who taught it while I was there passed away a few years ago. Overall, U of I is very good for practically any major, especially Business and Engineering. And the University has good relationships with recruiters and major companies, which helps with finding a job after graduation."

"Great experience to get out on your own. You're in a bubble with thousands of other people your age and gives you a chance to just be in the moment with less responsibility than as a grown up"

"Attending this school definitely helped me get my foot in the door for great jobs, but I really learned by doing on-the-job training."

"I loved the University of Illinois. It was a large campus though and was easy to get lost in the crowd. AT the time I was in school, the accounting department was number one in the nation, but they were in the middle of implementing new procedures, and I got stuck in the middle of them trying it out. So I don't feel like I got what I signed up for when I started."
