"Being apart of the Neuroscience Graduate Program is great because the other students are working on what seem like complete different areas of research, but have a strong focus in Neuroscience. I also enjoy that I have two outlets for questions and concerns. With the Molecular Biosciences department and the NGP. The only con I can think of is I dont know the people in my program. I am on the Lawrence campus with one other student, while the other 8 are at the KC campus. It would be nice to get together and know them."

"The program is great. The professors challenge you and give you a lot of resources to make your studies what you want them to be. The Kansas African Studies Center has FLAS funding, which is why I was able to attend. The con is that it is a humanities degree and you have to be creative with your future career prospects but that is to be expected at any program in the humanities."

"I feel that Mechanical Engineering program is quite good. The faculties teach the concepts till we understand clearly. There is lot of scope for research and financial aid is easily available for students having work experience. There are lot of internship opportunities available. There are many recreational events undertaken by college departments and social organizations."

"Highly specialized, competitive, and high caliber program that is uniquely designed to make me competitive in the field of clinical child psychology. Unfortunately, it is difficult to complete all academic opportunities (conferences, workshops, etc.) due to the cost."

"My area of study was vocal performance. The instructors were helpful, intelligent, and professional. Most of them were still active musicians and composers. While I learned a lot about theory, history, and technique I did not feel prepared to pursue a career in vocal music. I was unsure what I was qualified to do or where to start. Perhaps it was poor planning on my part, but I did not really realize that until I was pretty much done. That being said, I did graduate and can say I have a college degree from KU. I loved my time there. The campus is beautiful. The student activities are endless. The school spirit is unmatched."

"The University of Kansas is involved outside of the classroom in research. Many of the professors have published books and articles in professional journals. Basketball is huge there. Students get very involved in supporting their team. They offer flexible class schedules to accommodate for working adults."

"The lack of diversity is a concern but the program has been a true learning experience. The University seems to be making an effort to increase diversity, but the fruits of labor have yet to be seen. My classmates are great and we all push one another to be successful. Overall, I have enjoyed my time thus far and look forward to what the future will bring."

"KU offers a phenomenal graduate program in Applied Behavioral Science. The faculty are respected experts in the field, and they are extremely supportive in each student's education and professional development. The students are competitive and supportive which fosters a culture of excellence as we work together to advance our field through the research we conduct in our graduate program. I am honored to study at one of the best programs in the country for my field. To top it all off Lawrence is an incredible town with great restaurants, parks, and other fun activities when you get a break from school. I love being a student at KU!"

"There are many advantages to KU's School of Social Welfare graduate program. Many influential people are involved at KU, and the qualified faculty always seem to have the students' best interests in mind. The strengths perspective, one of the main perspectives in the social work profession, began at KU. This important piece of history for the profession gives KU impressive credibility. While there are always shortcomings and room for improvement in every educational program, KU makes up for it with their dedicated faculty and staff, rich history, and access to helpful resources."

"The University of Kansas is a amazing place to receive an education, whether it is undergraduate or graduate. The faculty in the History of Art department cover the range of all academic interests and they are always willing to help and guide students in the right direction. The department is conveniently located in the same building as the Spencer Museum of Art and the art and architect library offering immediate access to the collection and the stacks. The fellow graduate students are all so encouraging and supporting of each others academic prospects. I could not have asked for a better master's program!"
