"I am unable to get a job with my physics education, but I’m very glad I got my education. It helped broaden my horizons. I learned a lot and had a great experience. I am unable to pay back my student loans. I gave thousands of hours of charity gave a lot of people throughout my life And I’m still unable to get a job just how the world is today I guess but I’m glad I got my education it means a lot"

"I will start by saying I love my professors and fellow peers at my school. The administration thought is awful. They are rude and disrespectful. Every time I have gone to them about an issue or a problem, they are beyond ignorant and dismissive. It is a nightmare and causes so much stress. It is awful. My professors have been amazing. And the resources provided have been great. Housing has been pretty okay too. The only issue I have is with administration, but it's such a big issue with such a large impact on my experience here. It has absolutely tainted my college experience. It has been one bad interaction and situation after another. I can honestly say sometimes I regret going here. I love the professors and I love my fellow students, they have been amazing and nothing short of wonderful. However, the administration could definitely sand for improvement."

"Going to the University of Mary Washington was the best decision I ever made. UMW is an inclusive, hardworking, and academic community. We highly value the honor code, ex: a lot of people leave their laptops in the library to get food and don't have to worry about it getting stolen. The faculty and professors go above and beyond to make sure you succeed inside and outside of the classroom. They want to provide you with skills and tools to be open minded and help the community. The campus is beautiful year round, but especially in the Fall. I couldn't recommend this school enough!"

"UMW is a small, liberal arts school in Virginia. It is (or was) a very homogeneous school where there is not a lot of diversity. If you fit into the crowd there, it is a great option. If not, you might feel out of place. I would highly recommend visiting first to see if it is for you. The classes and professors are generally very good. Small class size make professors very accessible. However, be warned that there are a lot of cross-curricular requirements and you will have to take many classes outside of your major in order to be eligible to graduate."

"The University of Mary Washington was a great school. The small student population was a huge plus for me. Classes were small and it made building relationships with your professors much easier. The professors care about their student's success and personal wellbeing. My professors were always available during their office hours and usually always available to make an appointment with them outside of their office hours to address any questions or concerns that I may have had. The campus is beautiful and is very well kept. My only complaint is that I believe the University is trying to greatly expand and I find this unfortunate. Much of Mary Washington's charm comes from it's small student population and quaintness. The Sociology program in particular is very well managed. The professors are all so kind and helpful. I did not have a single professor in my major classes that I did not get along with. The University offers many extracurricular activities and tries it's best to create school spirit. The administration always addresses issues that occur within the community promptly and takes most issues seriously. I will miss Mary Washington and I still visit the campus when I can just because it is so beautiful and peaceful. I met a lot of unique and intelligent individuals during my time at this University and I am thankful to have spent four years of my life there. Although I currently attend VCU for graduate school, I chose to stay in Fredericksburg because I love it here so much. I cannot say I would have ever even come to Fredericksburg if I had not attended Mary Washington."

"The University of Mary Washington is an exceptional institution in which learning is exciting and interesting. The professors are engaging and passionate about their field of study. The campus is wonderfully maintained and encompasses a community of inclusion and engagement. The faculty and staff are readily available and willing to work with students individually about any financial or educational issues. Professors are always willing to accommodate students and have open office hours to visit, talk, learn, study, etc. at any given time during the week. The atmosphere at Mary Washington encompasses a wholesome community where anyone can find their niche and thrive within higher education. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a small, inclusive, intensive learning experience."

"The program is great if you're looking into a career of research in Psychology as it provides a great foundation of psychological concepts and research methodologies. However for those looking into a career in HR, PR, marketing, that isnt academia focused, this program might not have the best resources to prepare you for a future in those fields."

"The University of Washington College of Education program is a high-quality program. Not only do faculty engage in important, pertinent research, but many of them run centers or allow students to participate in their research in some way. The College also focuses on student diversity, with equality in education being one of the main focal points."

"The University of Mary Washington is a small Liberal Arts school that provides a well rounded education in various of disciplines required as general educations, which will help students with a variety of career paths versus a specific career path. Mary Washington provides a greater access to professors as wells as encouraging critical thinking. Being a Liberal Arts school, we prep undergraduates for better communication and writing skills for the business-professional world."

"The psychology program at the University of Mary Washington is rigorous and rewarding. Most of the professors are excellent and are always available for questions. The program is emphasizes research, so be prepared to take two statistics courses and two research courses. Overall, it is a good program that helped me feel prepared for graduate school."

"I attended the University of Mary Washington (UMW) to earn my B.S. in Psychology. I loved UMW and the Psychology department. The campus is beautiful and safe, with plenty of study areas and places to hang out on campus. The Psychology department is very close knit, including the professors. You get the close relationships with staff as you would in graduate school. Furthermore, the coursework required as part of my B.S. truly prepared me for graduate school. I was able to test out of my statistics class because UMW prepared me so well! I will say, however, that I felt I didn't have an opportunity to interact with students from other departments very much since I was a commuter student. I have heard that other students who lived on campus (at least their freshman year) did not have this same problem. UMW is also lacking in diversity, which is an important thing to note. Overall, I highly recommend UMW!"

"This is an excellent liberal arts school that has some fantastic professors. The chemistry and biology departments are very rigorous with experienced and helpful professors who are always willing to help. The campus is very active as well, there is always something to do to meet people and to take a break from studying."

"The University of Mary Washington was an incredible school to attend. The financial aid department was sometimes difficult to deal with, however, when it came to curriculum and the classroom environments, it was amazing. The small class sizes and attentiveness of the professors was very helpful and encouraging. My personal major, Art History, was such a close-knit community. We were always there to help each other and better our skills and knowledge. I truly recommend this university, as well as the Art History department."

"Mary Washington is a fantastic, quaint, liberal arts school in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I always had small class sizes, which meant I could actually interact with the whole class as well as my professors. Housing was on-campus and I could always ride my bike or walk rather than drive. Fredericksburg has a lot of amazing shops and restaurants, plus it is only an hour and a half from Washington, D.C, which is perfect for sight-seeing and adventures. Mary Wash has a lot of clubs and organizations that ensure no one feels left out. It's the best!"

"I liked how small the school was because teachers actually got to know us and we knew the other students in our major. It was large enough though that there were plenty of choices for different classes beyond the standard gen eds. Beautiful campus and actual campus events often, including little booths in random places on campus walk sometimes. I thought UMW was perfect."
