"Maryland Eastern Shore provided an environment and family that will never be forgotten. I enjoyed the social, academic, and athletic experience. The professors were invested in their students and made sure that the students were doing well inside and outside of class. While at UMES, I was a student athlete. The academic and athletic programs were top notch. Despite being a small school, it was apparent that the leaders at the time were passionate about keeping the campus up to date in technology opportunities, updated several buildings, and built new buildings to accommodate the growing campus."

"This program utilized current aspects in the hospitality field to educate us. We had several in-field experience through the program. There were also several organizations that helped students to network, develop interview skills, and gain exposure to future employers across the industry."

"College is what you make it but never settle. This university was not right for me but I chose to stay and receive a mediocre education. So my advice to you would be not to be afraid to transfer or speak up about the things you dislike. Do your research, visit multiple universities and ask people for their honest opinion. Just be sure, like with anything in life, that you happy and can succeed with what you were given. Enjoy college years it's a great time."

"UMES is a small school with a low student to faculty ratio. Students get to know their professor and have access to them if needed. There is also a huge tutoring center available to all students in all subjects. Sessions can be one on one or small group size which ever your perfer. Math professors are required to be at the tutoring center 3 times per week which is also a plus. I struggled in Calculus so I spent a lot of time in the center the times I Knew my professor was there in addition to my professor's office hours. My major was Biology and the courses that need to be completed for graduation can be difficult however after graduation going on interviews and talking to other graduates who had not taken some of the courses that were a requirement for me made me proud. I knew then that UMES had prepared me well and that I was marketable in this competitive job force. I have always gotten call backs for jobs and have just been accepted into Pharmacy School!!!!"

"I graduated from University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) in 2010. This was a school that many of my family members attended so that is one of the big reasons I went. Once there I was able to appreciate the fairly small school and class sizes which allowed for a better learning environment. It allowed for a lot of one on one help and created an avenue for better relationships with instructors. This is a school that is off of the beating path in small town called Princess Anne, not very much to do there, but this proved to be an advantage for me as it allowed me ample time to focus on my academics without the distractions of big city living. I was on the allied health track for rehabilitation services in which I thoroughly enjoyed. From the teachers to the students this major was l like being in a family and the staff was always willing to help in order to see all of the students succeed. My favorite professor was Dr. H., she was a young woman that many of us could relate to and go and talk to. She helped me figure out where I could take my career and avenues I could use my degree in while relating to me outside of the academic environment proving to understand the hardships students go through. The allied health track gave me two avenues, either a clinical route or non-clinical, by requiring all science classes along with other classes in the event I did not want to be some sort of clinician. Some of the routes included physical therapy, counseling, nursing or occupational therapy. With the background the major provided I was able to become a Respiratory Therapist and now I am working on a dual degree masters in healthcare administration/business administration. UMES has been ranked top in Maryland's most beautiful campuses, and it has held up to the ranking. It is a serene quiet place to learn where networking and education is at the forefront of everyone's goals. It is my Alma Mater and I am proud to say that I am graduate from the school."

"The University of Maryland Eastern Shore would be great for students that want to be distant from home. I'm from Baltimore and this school is 2 hours away from home. That's perfect for me due to me having my own space and making my own decisions. This school would also be great for students who love peace. Its very quiet on campus at times, even during the week."

"My experience at the illustrious University of Maryland Eastern Shore was a great impactful and educational experience. I was able to exceed my own expectations in all areas of work. I grew academically by joining honors organizations and gaining a job with the Office of Residence Life to help support me through college financially. Getting heavily involved in academic and educational organizations futhered my growth in my college career professionally which allowed me to mentally grow to seek more ways to impact other students and the campus community. As a graduate student I plan to further my education in Community and Mental Health Counseling to be a resource to help juveniles and young adults further their education after grade school."

"The pros of my graduate program is the gross anatomy portion because you get to dissect a human body and see where the actual muscles, nerves, and bones are located by palpating them. The cons of my graduate program is that the technology aspect is fairly up to date but it could be more modernized and buy equipment that we will actually use in the clinical field."

"The major pros for this program would include the faculty accessibility & support, and the quality of education. In this 3-years program, these two factors are crucial to the success of the students. The cons would include the administrative sluggishness (outside of the school of pharmacy) and the lack of public transportation."

"Pros:The computer science graduate program at my university is a very good and competitive program. The courses being offered are very educational and stay true to the field of computer science. our professors are very good at keeping the student updated on new job and internship offers. "The school community is small with a family feel and a diverse population. I am not familiar with the area but the parking lot is well lit and it is located in an area that is easy to access from the highway. The school is surrounded by beautiful trees and landscaping, a very calming atmosphere. The school offers weekend classes which is beneficial for people who are employed Monday through Friday. Careers are taken into consideration for the class schedule and assignments. I am thoroughly satisfied with my decision to attend Tai Sophia Institute."

"Pros- An accelerated program that can be completed within 3 years. Also, a small class size that promotes teacher-student interaction. Cons- The workload is intense and there is not much room to fall behind."

"The Animal Science program does cutting-edge research and the faculty are friendly and helpful to graduate students. There is an active graduate student club that does social and academic activities. The department is able to offer funding to most students."
