"Morris is a great school, especially if one wants to pursue a career in teaching, the social sciences or agriculture. I chose Morris because I wanted a school with a good reputation and was small. The University of MN main campus was much too large for me, so I chose Morris. It provided me with the ability to know my professors and for them to know me. I was able to meet many people on campus and build life lasting friendships. My education at Morris opened many doors for me in my professional life and continues to do so even though I work in the nursing field. My education in sociology has benefited me in my nursing career providing me with the ability to provide whole person care instead of just attending to the physical complaints."

"The school's location and character help motivate students to pursue their dreams and reach their goals. The professors care about the students success and believe in helping students mold into their career of choice. The school has a very organised activities program and weekend life is alive. There is always something to do each night. The diversity and rich history of the campus add to its overall fluid atmosphere. They have well organised sports teams including men and women's soccer, basketball and football. The arts department is responsible for many dance and drama presentations most weekends. On campus work is available for those that wish to get a job as well as do the work study option of financial aid. The rooms in the dormitories are nice and spacious. There are not many places to eat off campus however food on campus is good. The classes and degree programs are designed for students to succeed and focus on learning and not just passing. The liberal arts focus prepares students for the world with tools that will help you succeed in any area or career. This encourages students to not only be themselves but also to discover new skills and to grow. I really enjoyed my four years at this college. Each semester I saw my achievements increase and felt my personal growth. This motivated me to continue up to graduation. Considering that I was on probation the first semester, I made it to graduation. I graduated in a different major than I had intended initially but I am glad I made the change and found my true self."

"U of M Morris is a very inclusive, quirky campus with highly intelligent students and a plethora of student groups. Whatever you're into, there's a great chance you can find a student organization where you can nerd out about it with others! The professors are top of the line, and most will do anything they can to help you access and understand the material. Small class sizes and intimate class settings make learning second nature in many ways at UMM. The town of Morris isn't much to brag about, but events on campus, classes, and orgs will keep you plenty busy!"

"Morris is a small community of students who care about their education. It is lowkey-people rarely dress up and almost everything is closed on Sunday. There are few distractions, but it can get a little boring if you are looking for constant activites. The school does provide many opportunites for study abroad and other learning experiences that can combat the boredness."

"I loved my college. Be aware, it's in a small town and it's a small campus, but I loved that the classes were small and that you really got to know your professors and classmates. For being such a small school, the education is a very high quality and the professors push you very hard to do very good work. There are a wide variety of classes offered and some of the professors are leading studies in their respective fields. There are a number of resources available for students and everyone is always very nice and friendly."

"It's like a private school, but the cost of a public school. Class sizes are small and there's lots of room for customization."

"Morris is a great, small campus. People are warm and inviting, which is necessary for survival of awful winters. Classes are small and relationships with your professors will happen pretty much in every class. There are literally hundreds of student groups/organizations, a lot of community engagement/volunteer opportunities, and professors like to encourage independent/continuing research as you grow at UMM."
