"Overall UNT is an excellent school. Denton has to be the best place to be a student."

"There are a lot of pro's about the Clinical Psychology graduate program at UNT - the faculty are experts in their field and display their passion for the material in class. Professors are easy to approach, as are other students and TF's. The entire atmosphere is very collaborative - everyone works together and tries to help each other out, rather than competing with one another. I would absolutely choose this program again. The con of the program is the financial support. The program does all it can to provide financial assistance for the students, which increases each year of the program. However, there is still a heavy reliance on student loans to pay for courses and living expenses."

"There are many corporations in the area, which means many opportunities for internships and jobs. The school offers online and evening courses, which is very helpful for part-time business school students."

"As a current student, I have not had the opportunity to experience the career support yet. in addition, I have not lived on campus or attended undergraduate school there. Keep this in mind with my ratings. Would have been nice to be able to select 'NA'."

"Getting in and getting money at UNT are not difficult in the chemistry program. Nor is finding social activities hard- the chemistry department is very social and takes advantage of UNT's goings-on. The university shuttles are highly convenient. Food is a little lackluster and pricey, but the Beth Marie's Ice Cream Shop in the Union Building is fantastic. If you are interested in watching the university football team, though, prepare to be disappointed."

"It's a great school for undergraduate education and a phenomenal institution for graduate education. Professors at UNT are here because they want to be here and want to teach. Faculty and staff give a lot of attention to students here. The university is constantly improving student life while maintaining its quality education and is on its way to being the number one institution in Texas for undergraduate education. Students will find the support and resources any needs here. If you do a little research, you’ll find that the University of North Texas was founded as a private teachers college in 1890. In other words, the advancement in education (teaching and learning) is a BIG deal here. For graduate education, there is so much support and resources available here. As Dr. Joseph Oppong once said “If you’re smart enough to get into graduate school, then you’re smart enough to get someone else to pay for it!” Do your research, come visit, and see if you fit."
