This school does not offer good academic nor financial support, I do not recommend pursing a degree through this University. I have switched advisors multiple times, they did not assist me in recurring issues, such as their lack of communication. Overall, this school was one of the worst experiences I have had.

I am reading the reviews from several students and I am not surprised because a lot of people who attended the UoP with me would wait until the very last minute to post or do their assignments. If you are a procrastinator, you will fail - no matter what school you attend. You definitely have to put the work in to succeed. My program in Accounting was very challenging but I go through it and graduated in April 2017. I plan to go back for my Bachelor's in July 2017 in Communications. It was a lot of... Read More

I am a business person that came to the conclusion if I want to advance I needed a degree. From the moment I started looking i knew all I could do was online, classroom wasn't in my schedule with family and work. I have had nothing but an excellent experience from the admin to the professor. Ask detailed questions, do the work and you are golden. Its when you expect an A to be handed to you do I see unhappy individuals. Some of these kids and I use the work kids don't realize how much you are actually... Read More

My school very great and say this because its like you you in class but really you at home. when working online you have everything there to help you with anything you need help with. The instructor is always there you can call them or message them though class. Being is like being in class but better because you will be in your own comfort zone.

I was in the Accounting program and receive my Associate's degree. I honestly feel that the courses for this program were good but sometimes the structure of the programs was not good for working people. I also realized that there programs are just too expensive. I won't say anything else about the program though because overall it was not bad.

I wanted to chime in on my experience with the University. I have been a student since 2009 in which I obtained my Associates in Accounting; graduated in 2011. In 2012 I enrolled in my BSM/PM degree in which I am fully confident I will graduate in 2014. I have been to traditional colleges in which it did not work well with my schedule; I am a mother of three children, work full-time and also have a part-time consulting business. My business was established in 2011 after I obtain many accounting classes... Read More

As far as the courses are; this style of learning is very difficult to manage with the daily tasks of adulthood. It is up to you as an individual to ensure you get what you are paying for. I have seen so often that students try to just get by; that doesn't pay off in the long run. My thoughts on some of you that are negative you attempted to put very little or no effort in learning what you needed to in order to become successful. Everyone of my instructors have been fair and graded me properly for what work I have put into the class. I didn't always gets A's in fact I received two D's in math classes; I worked hard in these classes but that was the best I could produce. Time management is something that is required in order to be successful; you are not told when to go to class as you are in traditional school. We are suppose to be adults learning and should be responsible enough for our own actions; it is no one's fault but your own if you fail.

I am very comfortable saying that I have recommended UOPX to many people; some of which have received their degrees. I will continue speaking about UOPX as a great way to earn a degree in the crazy life that all adults have to manage as full-time parents, workers, and anything else that takes up your time.

The only reason I attend the school is because I was able to work in the accounting department as accountant while I was getting my degree and than I was supposed to get a 10% raise. I got my degree in 2007. However, due to the housing market crash I got laid off in 2008. I have been unable to find another accounting job and now I owe over $30,000 in student loans.

The school was descent however, my degree has not helped me in my job search. People recognize my four years at University of Arkansas,... Read More

I attended UoP for my bachelors degree and decided to return for my masters. It has been one thing after the other since then. There are shorter break times available between classes; my financial aid has been late, had to be redone, or not enough to cover classes; teachers no longer teach, they are just "facilitators" which means they auto post standard things and generally no longer teach; I had a disagreement with an information systems facilitator and miraculously got a virus the next day that... I also found out my masters is useless at my local state university. To transfer there I have to go back and start all over from the beginning. And local businesses do not want UoP grads, they prefer grads from the state universities. In my opinion, all my time and money was wasted at UoP.

I received my bachelor's degree from the UoP. I am surprised at some of the reviewes that I have read on here.

This is a great school. I found it to be challenging and rewarding. I never had a problem with any of the instructors. I would recommend this university to anyone.

The only thing that I didn't like about the school was that fact that you have to work in teams. That was the only reason I decided to pursue my MBA and now my DBA from a different school.
