"I retired from the Navy and have been in my second career for 16 years. I am very trainable, well trained and educated. I have been with UoP for two and half years, with two classes remaining for my BS/Business Management degree. I have had nothing but great experiences since I started. I have been challenged in every class, it is far from being easy. To be honest I think there was more expected from me then a traditional college. The faculty is awesome. This is not a give me and you earn every credit you get. Go for it!"

"A very solid and good school. I received a degree in Business Management and I was able to be employed within 6 months. The degree really helped push me forward in finding a new career. Many employers recognized my degree. The teachers were very good and I had a quality education. The facilities were new and updated as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a solid education with good instruction."

"Bachelor's of Science in Business Management BSM. 60 credit program takes a little over two years. Phoenix participates in Prior Life Achievement program that gave me a little college credit for 4,000 word essay about my time as a business manager. Also they gave me some credits for National licenses I earned. I took the balance of my credits online and had a 3.78 GPA. It was NOT EASY. Don't go to UOP if you think it will be simple. It's real college for real serious people who need to keep working or moms who need to stay at home with family or work at home. Consider also, has your future employer Heard of your Online college you are going to? No? Yes? But EVERYONE knows about University of Phoenix. Yes they advertise a lot, but everyone know someone who got their degree their. So I went with them because I didn't want an employer in the future to have to check them out to see if they were a real University. So be prepared to put in 15 to 20 hours a week. But, hey, I went to school in my pajamas! OH, cool online library they have but make sure your enrollment rep shows you how to work it. One more thing: They have the coolest software you can put your essay you wrote through it and it will show you suggested corrections for English, grammar and punctuation!"

"I attended UOP for 4 years. My GPA was 3.58. I went through 3 separate financial advisers, 2 academic advisers within a year and a half. I was in my last year with 3 classes left when they pulled me from class stating that I was going to own them money because the had exhausted all my financial aid. I borrowed money from my 401k, I worked two jobs, and clepped out of 3 classes. Another adviser called me who was not from my area and asked me why I was sitting out of classes when I still had over 5555$ of financial aid left. I blew up I told her that I did not withdraw from classes that I was taken out. She called me a lair, she said there was nothing in my record showing that I was taken out of classes. All the prior notes stated that I withdrew because I did not want to finish. I asked her why in the world I would do that she said well your grades could have been slipping or maybe you just got tired of classes, she stated "how would I know what you would do?" I was appalled. I told her fine sign me back up for my last 3 classes she states,"well you cannot we had to send your financial aid back because you withdrew." I cried for days. I missed graduating with my class, I was heart broken. I refused to go back so I attempted to transfer mind you I only had 3 classes left every school I spoke to refused to take my credits. 3 of them wanted me to start over as a freshman or sophomore. I am utterly heart broken. The thought of going back to UOP is mentally, physically, and emotionally draining."

"I was very satisfied with the online program. It was vigourous and challenging. I did notice that some students enrolled were not used to the online model.,as a result they struggled. Quite a few dropped out because of it. I believe you need to be honest with yourself. What type of learner are you? Do you need the attention of an in- class instructor? If you are not self-directed.This is not the program for you. Additionally before obtaining my degree, I was stuck professionally. However, after my degree I have made advancement and increased my salary by 40%. The key is to already have work exeprience. A person without work experience iwill not would benefit as much. That's just my opinion. UOP changed my life for the better. And I am glad I went."

"I attended the UOP online from 10/2010 through graduation in 5/2013. I took a couple of breaks over the course of attending the school and earned my BS in Business Management. The curriculum was adequately engaging and informational, although I did not particularly enjoy working with less motivated students, where my grade hinged on successful team participation and timely completion of the required projects. I overcame volunteering as the lead, and ensuring I was the final student to touch and post the assignments. It was more work, but it paid off for the most part. I earned a 3.85 GPA through the Associates coursework, and a 3.83 for the Bachelor's programs. The cost per credit hour was higher than a traditional brick and mortar school, but the flexibility of completing my studies while travelling internationally for my employer was worth the extra cost. I was also able to receive tuition reimbursement up to $5,250.00 annually through my employer when I completed classes with a grade of "C" or higher. After completing my degree I was able to attain a position with a company making $72,000.00 p/year after making $56,000.00. My boss told me I would never have even been considered for the opening if I didn't have a degree. Most recently, I accepted a new offer of $115,000.00 annually as a Call Center Director and will be starting my new position on 2/9/15. Although I completed a battery of required tests for this new role (Wonderlic, Watson Glaser), and ultimately won the position with my experience, background, skills, personality, and charisma, without my degree from UOP, I would never have even made it through the "screening" gate and been given the opportunity to interview. UOP is a fine school for those who are motivated to complete the course of study and apply what is learned to make a difference in their, and the lives of others. Regardless of the school, a degree is only as good as what you do with it!! Your degre"

"Unbelievable amount of incompetence on the financial side. I truly believe that I am a very understanding guy in many aspects, but the way financial services through treated me and the way they acted is something that I can't believe. I am 5 classes away from getting my degree, but am looking elsewhere to finish up due to the fact i cant bare staying with a University that is so incompetent."

"Just a horrible experience all around. I was enrolled for a campus classroom setting & the campus was shut down about a year after classes started for me. They tried to make us go online, but since we'd signed contracts they were unable to force us to do so. We are now taking classes in a hotel & have had classes with no instructor assigned because we are just forgotten about. Overall I feel like my experience here was a joke."

"Ok well everyone who continues to say UOP is not an accredited school needs to do research. Secondly I love the school. They are great people and when I had a slip up for about 3 classes they took care of me. No issues . I would recommend this school to anyone . This is college. Not daycare. If you want someone to baby you, then go to a school that will."
