University of Phoenix has been the best choice I made in my college career. They really want to help their students and help make a better life for their students. They do everything possible to accommodate life and unexpected things that happen in life for their students. I am 7 months away from graduating with my degree and I can honestly say U.O.P. has made it so easy for me to incorporate schooling into my busy life with two kids and a full time job. I want to thank all of the instructors but... Read More

First, let me preface this review by saying I already hold two degrees, from two different universities. None of those courses were online. However, as I am changing careers and a busy mother of three, I needed a degree program with much more flexibility. A good friend, a published doctor, recommended UoP to me. The online courses at UoP are perfectly designed, catering to all learning types. The majority of the staff are engaging professionals with advanced degrees in the field they are instructing.... University of Phoenix Online was a great way to complete my BS degree as a working single mom. I was able to complete my degree at my pace. I also enjoyed the team project approach which is real world based. The team projects simulated just how working with peers in the workforce can have it's challenges and rewards. Overall University of Phoenix worked out extremely well for me and my educational needs.

University of Phoenix is a great school to attend to further your education. All of my teachers were well prepared and obviously worked within the field they taught. It was awesome to have their personal experiences as well as their knowledge combined. It truly prepared me and pushed me to further my education as well as advance in my career. I am currently working in the health care field at the Veterans hospital and the bachelor's I received from University of Phoenix, has allowed me to apply for... Read More

Today is September 1, 2017, the day Post 9/11 G.I. Bill Veterans are supposed to get paid for attending school for the month of August. It's 3:57Pm California Time and still no payment has process for me or any of my military friends that attend University of Phoenix. I called my financial adviser who told me "University of Phoenix doesn't submit attendance until the 3-5 week of class." My 5th week of class will be September 11, 2017... and the VA doesn't pay out until the first which means I wouldn't... Read More

Scam. They enroll you in courses without telling you about it, and then charge you for them (even if you aren't a current student). This "school" cares about one thing only- their bottom line. It's all about the money. The education stinks. The courses are horrible. Save your time and go elsewhere. Ashford University has an online program that is amazing!

University of Phoenix allowed me to still be a mother. The classes fit my schedule and didn't take away from the time I needed to still live a everyday life. I am now working in the Department of Veterans Affairs and still pushing harder towards my Masters Degree.

I was told by my financial advisor that my tuition was going to be about 14, 000.00 in total i knew i was going to pay interest. while attending classes I paid a few thousands of dollars. My financial aid paid a couple as well, and at the end i was still slapped with 20,000.00 in student loans. this college is shady, I will make sure everyone that I know knows about it. Many of my friends wanted to take classes there but I will make sure i tell them my experience with them.

I think UOP is okay. I've been a student with them for a long time. As a kid, there were the only adult alternative school I heard of and when I failed to take the SAT, they were the first to accept me. Collegiate programs are already exclusive settings. One really can not acquire too many occasions of "A Life Interrupted" or else...that's the door. I believe most rankings are really based on the initial experience one has with an organization or person(s). I've had counselors I've liked and then... Read More

University of Phoenix greatly prepared me to enter into the health care field. UOP focused on team work through learning teams. The professors were all active health care professionals and shared their experiences with us. Their emphasis on presenting and group work has prepared me to enter into the health care field.

I received my Bachelor in Health Admin from UOP. The program was a challenge, and motivating. I gained insight, knowledge, and tools that have proved to be useful as a Health Admin, I plan to continue with my goal to make a difference in Health Adm.

I'm a current student and would not recommend this school at. The academic and financial advisors do not communicate with each, and every time I called, they have a different answer to the same questions. The school policy is to contact students at least 3 weeks prior to the next class to discuss any issues with financial aid and/or loans, but my advisor and academic advisors would not call. I received an email from my financial advisor the day before Thanksgiving of 2016, notifying me of a payment... Read More

The online program for me allowed the flexibility that I needed to continue working full time. I learned more than I ever anticipated possible through an online program. The professors were very professional and created an environment that was very conducive to learning. I was returning to school after a break of approximately 16 years. I was very nervous being a non traditional student but I found the advisors and faculty to be very accommodating. I was not in a situation where I could stop work... Read More

I really enjoy attending the University of Phoenix. I have learned so much about myself and met many different people over the years. I have learned how to work together with others in a team setting and whenever I need help with something the school has the resources available to point me in the right direction. You will never feel alone or helpless because your academic and financial advisor are there to assist with any questions or concerns you may have. Even though my classes were on line I learned... Only attend this school if you already hold a bachelor's degree and are working in the field that you intend to get your master's in. Unless you already work in health administration do not get your bachelor's degree at this institution. The cost is too high and the payoff is minimal at best. Getting a job in this field is virtually nonexistent even subsequent to graduating with a bachelor's and master's degree.

The classes are okay the prices are outrages. Don't go to this school much better off finding a local school that offers online classes! I couldn't pay an outstanding balances in full so they said I could set up a payment plan and change the date of the payment and they didn't honor that and I was instantly sent to collections. This school is a SCAM. I filled out my financial aid and for 3 months they been saying that they didn't receive my documents and I had to keep resending them. In On the student website it shows everything was submitted. I told them If they continue this game I will move schools and they said if I leave I will owe for the classes, that my financial aid should pay for but they are refusing it to me.

I attended University of Phoenix seeking a degree in the Bachelor program. I read some of the reviews and one individual commented that they have yet to use their degree. No college can guarantee you a job, and it is up to the individual to ensure that they go out and find a job. UOP is not a bad school, their work is challenging and will prepare you for a job in your profession. Although, I have to agree that I do not approve of the learning team because it is a hassle of trying to get everyone... Read More
