The University of Phoenix provided me with the professional credentials required to advance in my career and contributed to my ability to earn significant income. The UoP was a pioneer at educating working professionals at a time when traditional schools were highly dismissive of the needs of students unable to commit themselves to full-time on campus learning. The skills I found most useful related to financial analysis, planning, and statistics. I used these both in my professional career and additionally... Read More

The online format is not for working individuals. The Blackboard does not work well and the instructors don't know how to use it which leads your assignments to be turned in late because of the wrong date being published on blackboard. Also most of the time you can't view all of the assignments so you get marked a Zero because you could not see it from your end. If you try to view instructor feedback you might not be able to see it. How can you learn in this environment. Learn how to use your resources... Read More

I am very unsatisfied with my instructor. Instructors seem to have little sympathy or empathy for what their students go through on a personal level. This school is just interested in taking your money. Communicating with instructors is like communicating with a robot.

I'm suspecting fraud at the University of Phoinex. I'm retired Air Force and I'm in the process of completing my last class of the MBA program. I'm currently enrolled at the Chicago ground campus. After several calls I finally was told that the UOP lost its certification for Illinois ground campuses. However all of my instructors told me that the school was closing due to low enrollment. I'm coming to the community for assistance because my status has been changed from "active full time " to "active,... Read More

Earned/achieved an MBA in finance. My employer, a Fortune 100 company, paid entirely for my degree. In fact, my employer recommended Phoenix. The learning process was rigorous and relevant. All of my faculty held corporate level positions in their companies.

The University of Phoenix gave me an overall well-rounded education in Business Administration. I have been able to apply my skills on the job, and have had such a great interest in the field, I am now pursuing my Project Management Certificate, Master's Level. The University's has excellent instruction and guidance. The team work assignments have taught me leadership skills in the business realm which have been very beneficial. As a military Veteran, I would definitely recommend this school to fellow... Read More

This is the worst school you could ever go to. It is a for-profit school and they only care about your money and not your education. You will carry unqualified students through group projects, so you get a good grade. Those people who gave 4 and 5 stars are people who work there. They have an army of people to write good reviews about their school. Worst of all, no one respects a UOP degree, so good luck in finding a job. There so many good colleges out there, and UOP is not one of them. I finished... Read More

I genuinely recommend the University of Phoenix to those who hunger to improve the productivity of their organization and provide leadership and service to their communities. The education I received was phenomenal and comparable to my undergraduate experience at a California State University.

I am only 4 classes away from completing my master's program and I am not satisfied with the education I have received. I have not had any issues with financial aid but my academic advisor has not been regularly contacting me. Since I have enrolled back in August 2015, my advisor has only contacted me twice. I truly regret enrolling in this school and I wish that I can transfer. I should have done further research on the school, for this school does not have a good reputation. I can't help but feel... The instructors were wonderful. The online platform was terrible. The advisors are sharks. The schools reputation is so bad that I would never say to an employer that I have an MBA from this school. When I apply for a job I never add U of P degree. It's the death nail.

I attended University of Phoenix over the span of 6 years to earn, yes earn, my Bachelor and Master degrees. Just as others have mentioned, the coursework is designed in such a way that you get what you put into it. As a husband, father, active duty member who worked more than 60 hours per week I required a flexible schedule and approach to achieving my dream: graduating college. This university provided me just that. If you decide to attend University of Phoenix be prepared to work as there are... Read More

Although many schools have online degrees now, UoP has been doing so for a long time and I value that. I have many friends and colleagues that completed all different levels of degrees from UoP and they all recommended it, as would I. I work 2 mid-high level Finance positions and have a young child, so attending a brick and mortar school is not an option for me. Online education results are all directly correlated to the student. You will get our what you put in. I feel the UoP presents and delivers... Read More
