"Do not attend USJ for your FNP or DNP degree. This program is a joke and staff treat students like children. They have a policy where they take away 2 points from your final grade if you are late or miss class. They don't take into consideration that students have jobs, children, or health/mental illnesses. Stay far away from this school!!!"

"I truly believe that my undergraduate college experience played an integral part in making me who I am today. The University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT allowed me to participate in anything and everything I wanted to. I was able to be a Resident Assistant while working various other jobs and participating in two sports. The most influential experiences I had were from the academic faculty that I had the opportunity to learn from and work with. USJ provides an inviting academic atmosphere. The professors work to have you reach your highest potential with their help along the way. The Psychology Department and Spanish Department in particular possess amazing professors that make sure you graduate ready for any path you make take, including graduate school. In fact many of the demands graduate school has given me in my first semester, I have already experience something similar as part of an undergraduate assignment. Overall, the campus is beautiful and I have yet to find another college that can match it. In addition to its beauty on the outside, USJ has amazing lab schools and programs affiliations such as the Gengras and C.A.R.E center that allows students the opportunity to work with a special education population and participate in research. In addition, USJ has a lab preschool, The School for Young Children that hires students from the university to work as teacher assistants to provide the opportunity for those students to gain knowledge of early childhood education and help pay for their college tuition."

"USJ is a small, private university located in West Hartford, CT. The campus is beautiful, safe, and clean. The professors in the graduate program I was enrolled in were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. USJ is also well known for its nursing program. The Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis program (which I have my Master of Science degree in) continues to grow and expand every year."

"I was very happy with my time at SJC. The teachers were incredible and really cared about the students- they also really knew the material they were teaching. I feel well prepared for a job as a school counselor."

"This program is new to the system so i believe that it is still a little unorganized other than that the faculty is great."

"My Graduate program was very rigorous and helped to hone my skills in the education field. The professors at the graduate level were extremely helpful and on more than one occasion have gone out of their way to ensure the success of their students. Some professors are not as knowledgeable in the fields they are teaching."

"The program is expensive and certain professors seem distant and uninterested in their students."
