University of South Florida - Main Campus Reviews
This school is just going downhill the professors they have are terrible and don't understand technology or how to use it properly. It's ridiculous that multiple people with a PhD can't even write proper English let alone use a program correctly. I give this program a 0/5 for how helpful the Professors and staff are. I graduate with my Masters and really learned how out of touch they are once I got my first job.
The program director has been extremely communicative and helpful. She has been willing to fully explain answers to questions I have had during the course of the program. The program is hands-on with a practicum aspect that prepares students for jobs evaluating programs or companies upon graduation. The certificate also counts as a project management degree which also open professional opportunities for my career.
University of South Florida is a very diverse and inclusive environment. Many of the course are ranked at a very competitive level and the professor are quite knowledgeable in their areas of study. The work / life balance on this campus is also pretty impressive and I was able to complete my degree with a great GPA while also creating bonds and making some fun college memories.
University of south Florida is a really big school with extremely great transportation system. Some lecture are too big, so you don't have that intimate feel in the class room or one on one learning time. but they make up for that on the fridays sessions with the TA. You get all your questions answer and help if you dont understand anything.
I have transferred from a community college to a 4-year university. I must say the transition wasn't bad at all. There are a few differences between the two. There are more student organizations at the University of South Florida, USF, than there was at Tallahassee Community College, TCC. Everywhere I turn, an event occurs where prizes are given away or tables set up to inform students about voting or different community issues.
USF is by far the BEST university. There is so much to do, so much to learn, and everyone is friendly. No one has a problem helping others out. My first month here has been great and I hope it becomes better these next two years.
