"The University of South Florida is a campus that prides itself of high academic and career achievement, and certainly, it is true. The professors are approachable, and student can easily talk and discuss research, classes or career experience. The class size (at least for my graduate program) is small and create a one-on-one discussion with the professor, and this helps with the detailed understanding of the subject matter. The campus is big and nice, and there is a high diversity of students on campus. Overall, I will highly recommend this university to a friend."

"I was very satisfied with my time at University of South Florida. I went to nursing school, so the program would have been rigorous regardless, but I always felt supported and never felt as if I was being neglected. Like all programs, there were some teacher who were not as good as others, but Those classes were still manageable. I had a great clinical site and amazing clinical instructors. During our last semester, they made sure to properly prepare us for our licensure exam and really helped us prepare. I passed the NCLEX the first time!"

"Though Microbiology is a tough subject, most of the teachers were very insightful and made the material approachable. That being said, there is a ton of information so if you don't like to study or generally enjoy this subject overall, I suggest choosing a different major."

"University of South Florida is a very diverse and inclusive environment. Many of the course are ranked at a very competitive level and the professor are quite knowledgeable in their areas of study. The work / life balance on this campus is also pretty impressive and I was able to complete my degree with a great GPA while also creating bonds and making some fun college memories."

"USF was a great choice for me because I was working full-time and going to school full-time. They offered classes on campus and online. I was able to combine night classes with online classes and work during the day, Sometimes there was an ocassional Saturday class available. (English) The campus has resaurants and a cafe on campus, so it was easy to pick up lunch without having to drive. It was safe and clean, parking lots well lit and the professors were very likable, tough curriculum but nice prfessors who challenged you to really think. Overall, I am satisfied with my education there."

"I really enjoyed the campus. The buses made available to the students was really useful as it came very close to my apartment off campus. The student center was large and had a lot of food options, including restaurant chains. I also really liked that we were able to purchase Microsoft Office for $10 which was a great value."

"I am currently in the University of South Florida's accelerated Masters in Architecture Program. This program is rigorous while it prepares students for many kinds of architecture career environments. It focuses on development as it teaches old school methods all the way up to hands-on experience with brand new technology. The best part about receiving a Masters in Architecture at USF is getting to have the opportunity to connect with hundreds of firms around the world with research abroad and visiting speakers. I am proud to be apart of USF's architecture program, and definitely recommend it to anyone considering architectural design."

"The University of South Florida has an amazing school of Business. There are are always great networking opportunities available to students and the professors are all there to help usher you into learning what you need to know to have a great career. The professors often give advice that applies to the real world and not just textbook responses to your questions."

"The ABA program at the University of South Florida would be an amazing choice for any aspiring behavior analyst. The cohort sizes are small, the professors are influential, there are ample opportunities to be involved in research, and you will gain loads of clinical experience through involvement in practicum courses. Along with the benefits of the program, Tampa is a fun area with an overwhelming need for ABA professionals at all educational levels."

"What makes USF unique is the interdisciplinary nature of its programs, especially at the graduate level. Besides a few core courses the graduate student has the latitude to choose courses from other colleges/departments. This tends to provide a very rich background knowledge base when the students face their dissertations. Drawing from a diverse knowledge base helps students tackle problems in one field with viewpoints that may not traditionally belong to it; and often break new grounds. Environmental science and policy deals with issues of the environment; and how policy should be directed to make the environment not just safe for us and our children, but also for the unborn generation."

"This is a large school with a ton of students and often times you will feel like a number rather than a name, which is a downfall to the school. There are small things that need to be fixed on the Main Campus, like parking. There are never any parking spots, no matter when you arrive, even though you pay $183 for a parking permit. However, this is a beautiful campus, with many learning opportunities, clubs, sororities, honors societies, etc. that can make this a great place to earn your degree."

"There are several flaws with the University and a large number of problems with the Department of Criminology. The University does not support its' graduate assistants, and will not bargain with the Union. Graduate assistants are underpaid and mistreated by faculty members. The Department of Criminology is under extremely awful leadership. The department chair is sexist and vindictive. I have witnessed the chair make sexual comments to his female graduate assistants about female undergraduate students. There is a pattern of preferential treatment which has driven away many young faculty members. Unless you are willing to do the department chair's bidding your funding will get cut. Avoid this University and Department at all costs. It is only a matter of time before the Department of Criminology at USF implodes."

"University of South Florida is a great place to study. There is always interactive events and festivities that make it fun while working hard. The students take pride in the school and always showing school spirit. Some classes are a small size and intimate attention, while others are great in size. However, there is so much help with tutors and teaching assistants."

"The University of South Florida was a great school to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications/Public Relations. They taught me the importance of interning while in college to test the waters in my field as well as join student organizations related to my field to help develop a network and enhance my college experience. I followed those directions and I believe it helped me get the most out of my college career ."

"My time at the University of South Florida was AMAZING! It is a very diverse school with a beautiful campus. When I say diverse, I mean you'll see White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, and more just about everywhere you go. There are so many different organizations and activities going on that you have a hard time deciding which one to be a part of. When it comes to my degree, it hurts me to say that it does not pay after college. I have a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences with concentrations in Criminology & Sociology. I struggled with getting a decent job, let alone a job that paid a decent amount. Now I'm back in school pursuing a Master of Science in Counseling degree to allow my resume to compete with others in my field. I don't regret my degree because that's what I wanted BUT I wish I picked up a Minor in something that pays."
