"I love my school and everything it has to offer. The courses I am taking are taught by professors that share such passion in the topics and this makes the subjects even better to understand. The class sizes are quite big, but the professors do an amazing job making us students feel more like a group of 10 than 200."

"My experience at USF as a person who was considered to be an adult learner a post Gulf War Veteran, and a Single Parent was appropriately challenging, supportive and inspiring. Through the various activities in the curriculum, along with the presentation of the inclusive diverse staff, The school of Social Work effectively challenged the student body to fully understand what it meant to be a Clinical Social Worker and the expected accountability and responsibility that the profession holds to the broader society as well as to the profession itself. I never felt left behind unnoticed or unnecessarily identified or exploited. When I needed help it was offered and I knew where to get help if I did not feel safe in my immediate classroom environment. During my time at USF there were several unpleasant events that occurred on campus amongst the student body that involved disrespect towards the differences of others. I gained a new level of respect for USF when the administration sent a message of no tolerance for any disrespect towards anyone regardless of their differences. I would recommend USF to anyone seeking an inclusive supportive challenging educational experience rich in evolutionary change for social equality."

"I am proud to say that I am attending USF's School of Public Health. They are the best school for public health and are steps ahead of all other schools with this graduate program. They have a new type of alternative schedule that combines all core classes into one, so students can see how all concentrations of public health work together. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone interested in pursuing a graduate degree in public health!"

"The University of South Florida gave me so many opportunities. The classes were invigorating and challenging, and everyone was very encouraging . The amount of options of organizations to join, allowed freedom and diversity of each individual. Whether you are considering USF as a commuter school, or a school to attend while going away from home, I highly recommend it."

"I think this is a great university for someone looking for exciting research. The classes require a lot of independent study, but the graduate students are good at working together to learn the material. The level of research is excellent."

"I am an alumni who attended in 1986, but did not graduate. I would like to return for online classes. Even attending one semester improved my position for being hired in the workforce. If I ever complete my bachelors degree I hope to create a better place for us all to live. My dream is to own my own Bed and Breakfast motel."

"My pros of my graduate program are that there is a great student to faculty ratio, all the students are engaging in original research, and being a Marine Science program, are located right on the Gulf of Mexico. We have access to the latest techniques and technology for our work. The cons are that we are not located directly in the main campus so have logistical issues at times."

"My college classes were effective, informative and enjoyable. I transferred from St. Petersburg College, where I did not feel as positive as I did at USF. Although class sizes were for the most part smaller at SPC, I did not feel I was getting as much information, and the format was too structured and shallow. My professors at USF seemed genuinely concerned about my understanding and success. I am grateful to USF for giving me a positive college experience and a degree and education that I can be proud of."

"The general culture of USF is unique. It is a amalgamation of various types of student backgrounds, upper and lower class, national and international, melding together into one calming melting pot. The college employed world class professors and educators ready and willing to ensure your learning objectives are met."

"This degree offered both online and in-class courses that both helped me finish quicker and find the right medium for learning. For the mathematical/statistical classes, I preferred to take online. Any classes that I wanted to have more discussions on, I took in class."

"There is a lot of good, a lot of bad, and a lot of unrealized potential. There really are a lot of good professors in the EE department, but there are also a lot of bad ones. The good ones are those who are clearly there to teach and enjoy it. The bad ones are those who are simply there for research and could not possibly care less about their students. The school itself is so focused on trying to appear elite, rather than being elite, that it translates down to the quality that the students are receiving. Also, now, they have specifically changed the BSEE degree to where you are required to specialize at the undergraduate level, which is without a doubt, a mistake. I am glad that I am not on the current curriculum. I would absolutely NOT go there for grad school."
