The online MSW program at USC allows students from anywhere to access excellent professors and a fantastic alumni network. The program offers concentrations in a variety of areas, from macro practice to mental health to military social work. Professors are knowledgeable and passionate. The alumni network - Trojan Nation - is amazing and allows you to find job opportunities anywhere you go in the US.

College is a great time for self-growth. You get to learn more about yourself in a space where your identity is celebrated--it's not just about the classes you take, but the connections you make through friendships and activities outside of school. College is a bigger, brighter place of discovery with lots of fun to be had.

I had a great experience however that was based more on my internship placements than the academics. Very expensive and you need to really build connections to ensure you will be successful and the degree is worth the value.

The USC School of Social Work is entirely in it for the money. The program does not have enough staff or internships to support the number of students that are admitted to the program. Please think very carefully before selecting this program - you will get the same education with significantly better support and networking from a Cal State school at a fraction of the cost.

I am a perennial student, pursuing my second masters, and had my share of learning experiences. So I can attest that the professors and education quality is the best I have experienced. I've never been so excited about my future because I know I will be trained as one of the best in my field.

The professors were amazing and very knowledgeable in their fields. I was able to have two internships and they were amazing experiences.

University of Southern California offers one of the best social work programs in the Nation. Each student is offered a unique educational experience based on their interests and needs, and there are many opportunities to get involved in extra curricular activities in the community and on campus as desired. High educational standards and up to date curriculum are used to prepare students to become productive and efficient professionals upon completion of the program.

The education is wonderful and you really get a good sense of the world with it. Unfortunately, the cost associated with the degree can be a burden.

I was accepted into the MSW program at USC in 2001 and at the time only 195 students were accepted among approximately 2500 applicants. The school ranked 8 in the nation. Great education, top school, individualized attention, a lot of work and many connections that will continue to grow throughout one's professional career. I recommend USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work.

USC offers an evidence based practice approach to social work while also promoting cultural competency and diversity. Professors are very knowledgeable, approachable, and have had extensive careers in all niches of the social work field. I would highly recommend this program to anyone seeking more than just an MSW. USC offers a higher caliber in social work education.

The USC Suzanne Dwirak-Peck School of Social Work is a great program that helps an individual grow and learn so much information. It prepares the student to go out not he field and conquer. I am loving every moment of this experience. Definitely has been a growing experience as an individual and as professional. The program is on the pricey side, hence scholarships are a must.

The education is useful but the student loan debt is the greatest regret of my life. I would advise future students to not pursue higher education if they have to take out loans.

USC provided many unique options and experiences. Majority of professors were good and genuinely cared about the education of future social workers

USC not provides diversity in it's curriculum content, but rigorous instruction from professors with a wealth of research and experience in a variety of settings. You are equipped with global lenses of social injustice, knowledge to provide culturally appropriate services and impact individuals and communities. USC provides opportunities for discussion of relevant content matter related to equity and equality and has strong networking opportunities for current students and alumni.

There are many pros to my masters program. There is a large professional network that can be obtained. The teachers, staff and students are very welcoming and create a safe space within their classrooms. The job opportunities are very good after graduation. The cons are that the school just changed the 2 year program after many years. I feel as if I am a test run on the new classes, programs and internships. The overall cost of this master program is very expensive.

The pros of my graduation program is the internship that coincides with theory's taught among courses, network opportunities, and professional events held at the USC School of Social Work.

USC offers a competitive and challenging MSW program. Additionally, USC provides a sub concentration in Military Social Work, offered by a civilian research university.
