I attended the University of Wyoming from 2003-2008 and very much enjoyed my time at this learning institution. The University of Wyoming is a great school for those seeking smaller class sizes, more individual attention, with attention high academic standards. I would very much recommend this school.
As an undergraduate student of UW, it was a fantastic school to study geology. The professors are wonderful and they care about you. They are willing to work with you and help you succeed with your education and future. And to top it off, you'll live in a beautiful state with mountains, and the plains. There's a lot to do around Laramie on the weekends, including hikes. The University has an Outdoor Program which includes rock climbing, snow shoeing, ski trips, etc.
The University of Wyoming had a great online Bachelor's program that I was able to attend at a distance. I lived and worked in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for 10 years, and I was lucky to be able to complete an in-state university online while living there. The professors and counselors were fantastic and I felt that I received a great education. I received a job offer within the Internal Audit department of a publicly traded company before I even graduated.
The University of Wyoming is a stunning college for multiple reasons. The campus is beautiful, abundant with aged trees and large sprawling lawns. The buildings are well maintained and their old age well preserved. Studying psychology at the University of Wyoming was the best few years of my life. As a scholarly individual - I was encouraged to not only learn information but to retain and apply. The professors are personable, knowledgeable and up to date on current research and applications on theory. The beautiful thing is that the student population at the University of Wyoming is incredibly diverse which lends to further expansion of thought and communicative interaction. Stellar University.
I have enjoyed my time at the University of Wyoming and all that it has presented me. The town of Laramie had the small town Wyoming feel that I had grown up around and allowed those that had not been privileged enough to experience. The small college allows one to attain the education of a bigger college while being able to stand out due to the small population whereas they might not in a bigger college. This school has granted me the tools to reach my goals of graduating with an undergraduate degree in criminal justice so that I could enroll in their law school for the next fall.
I graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2015. I enjoyed the education I received from this university for various reasons. 1) it is a smaller campus, which is exactly what I wanted 2) because it is smaller there is more opportunity to build relationships with instructors and other faculty to help build networking opportunities 3) the campus community is strong and it seems as though everyone looks out for one another 4) it appears as though the Dean of Students and the President work really hard to try and make the campus safer for students and lastly 5) the small town vibes really gives people a different sense of community that you cannot get at any other university.
I already was working toward the career of my dreams when I decided to go back to school to get a degree. I attended all of my classes online due to my work schedule. I felt that the instructors really cared about what they we teaching and were quick to respond any time I had a question. Online classes are not for everyone but I would recommend the University of Wyoming for an online Bachelor's in Business Administration. I have even applied to complete an online Master's degree at this school.
The University of Wyoming is an excellent school in which to pursue an education in terms of quality and affordability. There are many benefits of attending UW, including a wide array of educational opportunities, but also for students to engage in other activities outside of their curriculum.
The University of Wyoming Kinesiology program prepared me exceptionally for a graduate program in health care. They emphasize professionalism, work ethic, and gave me a great foundation of knowledge in the sciences. The department feels like a family and I was comfortable talking to all of my professors about coursework, professional goals, or just general life advice.
The University of Wyoming is the "happy-medium" choice for any student. It's not too big, but not too small. You have lots of class options but class size is small. It's incredibly affordable and there are plenty of scholarship opportunities for any willing individual who wants to apply. A small town feel with all the big time perks.
