"I would not recommend Virginia College in Huntsville,Al to any one. The teachers are hired of the street with little or no teaching experience. You can count on over paying and teaching yourself. Everyday there was a new problem and if you have a problem don't count on being helped. If I had to do over again I would NOT have went to school at Virginia College."

"TO ALL WHO THINK VC HAS THE ANSWER!!!! I have just finished my associates of applied science degree in network engineering. I am a military student and I would have to say it has been a really rough road. Financial aid is horrible. They are no help at all the try any way possible to confuse you and over charge. Just found out that they have been charging me as if I was taking 12 credit hours when I was only taking 8 this has went on for 2 quarters. Then they are always submitting my tuition amount to the VA lesser then what it actually is (Which by the way is $4,897 for 12 credit hours). At first the quality of education was good then corporate started changing stuff and we lost some teachers. Now its all money and no education. Thank god for text books and LabSims. I have never seen such a mindless place in my life how they get away with it I don't know. Like I said I am military and I now know I was recruited. They don't care about you only your money. The tuition has rose over $200 in the past 2 years $1000 in the past 5. I and many others have submitted complaints to the corporate office during quarterly reviews and nothing has happened. I urged any military student(We make up 80% of the school.) that is going to VC and having unresolved problems to submit your complaints to http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/feedback.asp. To all the others go to the BBB and the department of EDU. its time they are stopped."

"Stay away from this school. Just trying to help the next person in line here. I almost done with my associates in network engineering and I regret even going. They take all your monies and they do not in any way assist you. I will say this though, I have always had a really good advisor and she was nice and worked to help me any way possible but that was the only good thing about this school. As far as price, its too expensive and if you are to be getting a refund/stipend then think again. They do not give you anything and they give you the run around the entire time about your account. They owe me as a credit in the amount of 741.00 and I have not seen a dime of that money and probably never will. The student portal is a joke and some of your information is wrong and the leger card information is a joke as well. Nothing is shown for you to understand and thats their goal; to keep you confused the entire time while pocketing your monies."
