"This school close two weeks ago and they don't answer phone calls or e-mails. I requested my transcripts to transfer to another university but nobody respond to my transcript request. I sent a letter to the Governator, also the TWC but nobody answer. I am frustrated because I was near to finishing my bachelor and this happened. I know we were a lot of students in the same situation waiting for an answer...."

"NOT WORTH THE MONEY! basically I was overcharged and undereducated. It's all about making money for the owners, which at my enrollments where based in Kansas, I don't know about know. The teachers where always unprepared, at one point I had teacher who's major was nursing teaching us the basic technology of the internet! at another class they couldn't get the book (for which they charges us handsomely) for Microsoft Word, so we used the Spanish version which was available (and then I found out was cheaper, but still charges us full price) I never made a single penny out of the worthless diploma I got here, at one point an HR actually told me "we like you, and would hire you, but come back when you have a REAL DIPLOMA" DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Just go to your local community college"

"This was terrible. You take courses that you expect to learn that particular skill, but in reality I had over 3 courses THAT DIDNT HAVE INSTRUCTORS!! SERIOUSLY! SO you had us sit in class from 530 to 10pm doing nothing and learning nothing! Vista care nothing about the student and everything about money!"

"I love my teachers for the MA program and really feel supported with other staff members here. The business office woman is on point with helping the students as well. I would recommend this college to anyone that’s thinking about getting into the MA field."

"I didnt listen to all the bad reviews, i learned the hard way. Dont waste your money. You will be just a number to Vista College. I switched from diploma to degree plan they tried to talk me out of it said it would hurt their completion numbers. The had us doing labs at home. Building up brick walls in my living room. Promised the world and nothing but broken promises. The instructors and director in my course of study tried to get us back at school due to the program requiring HANDS ON! but school kept declining. Even though mask, temp checks, and having to wear bracelets saying we had been screened. There was multiple instances when the superiores of the instructors and program director's would interrupt class due to a student having a water bottle a freaking water bottle. Construction diploma program instructors and program director i will rate high based on the resources Vista College would allow them to do. The degree for Construction management is a joke. I got 6 weeks left and i regret everything about it"

"School was incredibly ableist was accused of cheating for putting pencil down 2 seconds after everyone else due to known learning differences. Some teachers were really great but a few were very abusive and full of selves. Student loans scammed and lied and charged for room and board and excused it by serving pizza weekly. People got scammed an extra 10,000. School states they had accommodations that didn’t. Also used expired saline and autoclaves in lab class. Had people poking without following protocol. Teachers denying disabled students quiet library study while president/ dean or principal stated that I received lone study time. Never finished school because the environment was very tense and while I worked very hard felt very lied to"

"Please RUN! Dont waste your time or money with this program. Curriculum and staff changes all the time. Program is disorganized and extremely stressful. Not to mention super expensive. Most students have to retake classes over which adds more cost on to your education. Not a very good program even for high achievers who still seem fail at this school. It hard to keep a good GPA do to the weird grading system. And teachers seem to not care or want to see students move on. I think this school is setup for students to fail. Please listen to the reviews of others because they are telling the truth."

"Stay away! This schools LPN program is designed for students to fail. They will create loop holes as to why staff cant help the student but when it comes to the teachers they can do whatever they want to the students. There is constant changes with how the curriculum and nursing directors. Please don't waste your time and money going to this school, The school will makeup reasons to fall students and have them retake classes over for more money. NMSU is your best option for a quality education and better success rate in pursuing your nursing dreams. Please beware!"

"I wish I had never attended this school, If I only believe the reviews, this never would have happened. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS, EVERYTHING THEY SAY ABOUT THIS SCHOOL BEING THE WORST IS TRUE. Vista college is the worst school that can exist. Very unprofessional and they only cares about the money that you must pay them. Please believe on all the bad reviews that you see because its going to save you."

"I decided to do the 4 year bachelors degree program online with Vista College. The business office is horrible, they do not care about the students and get an attitude when you ask questions. The instructors online were very good, but that’s the only thing I liked about the school. Basically the business office can’t do simple math and spread your living expense payments out throughout the course of your school, they overpay or underpay you, and have no clue what they are doing. Here I am after 4 years, and maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and I have no degree because they never sent it to me and I graduated on September 4,2020. Now they are saying I owe them over 600 dollars which is ridiculous. I would avoid this school at all costs."

"The absolute worst place to be a student at. The instructors are sub-par, the staff is insane and they come up wit new rules everyday to try to fail you at. Don't even begin to have a life outside of school. If something happens out of school and you have to miss they will not care dock your attendance, say that they will kick you out and then on top of everything else they will dock your grade for being absent. so even if you make all 100's you will still not even get close to a decent gpa. The only reason it is easy to get into this school is because they come up with reasons to make you quit or get you out of the school and you will still owe the student loans. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!"

"So far the degree I've received from Vista hasn't gotten me a job anywhere. I'm still under qualified for pretty much everything except retail and fast food. So I put myself in dept just to remain where I began when I started there. The only thing I would recommend to anyone looking into Vista is to do more research, and realize they should just go to an actual university."

"I am a veteran using my post 9-11 GI bill. I was told at the start of the class that the IT was going thru a book change. This was going to cause so late pay problems. I prepared for a month or 2 to go without that income. I have been in the program for 4 months the school is withholding money from my FASFA and student loans. I understand the school needs to get paid. But why would they accept the post 9-11 but then it not be accepted. The VA rep here is never in the office, and if they are they are on the phone with the va and cannot be disturb. This school is a "check the box and act like we did it" school. IT is basically an online school done in a classroom. They are only here by the military base to take advantage of the veterans. They only care about thier checkbook!!!"

"I had the most awful experience at this school. I was told that the school provided tutors, a resource center, and career services for students once they were ready to graduate. There is something fishy going on with the business office. When I enrolled, the financial aid office provided me with a summary statement of how much was payed to the school by FAFSA. However, the business office kept telling me that I owed them money each month, when I should not have. The business manager was fired from Texas A&M University for stealing 25,000 from the school. Lots of students were being told they owed money that they were not told about when applying. The program director pulls students out of class for long periods of time to question us about our attendance, our uniforms, I missed so much class, which they then took points off for. The classes are boring. The teachers are suppose to take us to lab, lecture, and give us class activities. Very few lectured, had no teaching experience, and just sat at their desks while we worked on computer programs from the book. I hardly got to practice my skills in the lab. Only Snell and Heath controlled lab and smell teach capstone and Heath left. There were not enough instructors in the lab to monitor so we basically practiced on each other though we did not know what to do. Students laughed and carried on in the lab so it was hard to learn and the teachers didn't care. Several students when they went out on extern were sent back to the college because we had not been properly taught how to draw blood, take a blood pressure, work with a sterile field, or take an accurate medical history. I passed my certification test but there were some students that did not and there was no extra assistance for those that needed. Less than 50% of the students graduateng from the medical assistant or medical billing and coding programs got a job within 6 months of graduation. the career service staff don't even know how to prepare a resume without misspelling and sent my resume out before I even saw what they put on it.The school is under review and enrollment is so low that most classes are not offered at night anymore. I owe 40000 in debt from student loans and only make 9.75 an hour with no benefits. should gone to blinn."

"I attended this "school" with high hopes and had a good experience from my prior attendance in a different field of study which was cut short due to other circumstances at home. I must say I feel very cheated. The instructors were helpful and knowledgeable in their fields yet the curriculum was in disarray. Many projects were planned to be covered the next day and weren't. Many topics weren't covered or gone over. I believe one of the main reasons that I didn't drown was the fact that I have 22 years experience self taught in this field. Upon internship time I was sent to a site that had NOTHING to do with anything covered in class. I basically printed out invoices and posted links to the businesses store on Facebook. My second attempt at an intership site was much more satisfying though I only had a few hours left to fulfill. My time sheets were often lost. When dealing with the Career Coordinator (who happens to be more of a coordinator for the medical field) and her helping me fill out a resume (which she basically did on her own), I told her of the particular things I excelled in. When they were listed down there were programming languages that do not even exist. After bringing it to their attention I was told that doesn't matter. I am fully aware that I still owe the school yet without employment it is hard to pay anything. It has gotten to the point that the frequent emails sent to me by them for Past Due are being put into my Spam folder in Yahoo without me having set it up in that manner. Many times the classes reminded me of being in middle school and having a substitute teacher. A free day to just do nothing. The toolkit assigned to you is a joke and one could probably get those tools for less that what you are charged. The network tended to drop during Test out (another useless thing) and other random times. It's pretty sad when a student can't login into the portal or even the school's website from the school's computers. I have run into former students that studied in different fields that all have the same complaints. This establishment is only looking for $. Stay away from Vista College."

"The instructors bring inter school peer politics into the classroom we are students, adults yes but students none the less, we should not hear the faculty complain about the faculty ever. And the classes are handled nore like a place for social gathering, rather than an educational institution. The instructor informed the whole class vista was going on academic probation with the Texas Workforce Commission, under no circumstances should faculty be telling students this. There is way more, but my thumbs are tired."

"Please understand that this schools is unorganized. Vista College has had a negative impact on my life as a whole with their inconsistent program. They take advantage of your VA benefits and will dock you even if you try to eat dinner on their 530 - 1000 pm scheduled time. They do not provide any help what so ever towards your personal life."

"This school is a joke. The instructors are heartless and I truly believe they arent qualified. The tuition was ridiculous and now two years later I am jobless and in Student loan debt. I am currently enrolled in another school and was told the credits are non transferable from Vista and they arent accredited. Waste of money and time. One of the best scams of this time."

"So in going to this college I heard a lot of backlash. I went ahead and chose to go to Vista for the convenience of how fast the classes would take. I was a wonderful student President's List status. However I graduated and I have been working as a medical assistant for 3 years. Vista College in Amarillo went under due to money issues. With that said three years later I'm wanting to further my career to be an RN, and trying to get my transcript they tell me that I still owe them $2,000. With this said their policy does not allow you to graduate if you have any back balance. So now I find it funny that since they're having money issues they're trying to milk people for everything they have. I have now had to postpone classes for an entire semester and still have not received the transcript from them. They have given me every run around possible. They have told me multiple times they have not received my transcript request after telling me that she had it in front of her, and then she's dodging phone calls I left multiple voicemails and cannot get ahold of anyone. So as of right now I do not get to further my career because they are trying to milk me for money. I see a lawyer in my near future!"

"I was told when signing up for school with Vista College that some of my credits would transfer if i decided to continue my education. Well that was a lie i have to start all over an take the same class because none of the credits transferred at all so now i am stuck taking out more loans and ask Finacial Aid for more money."
